    Sorry, that was good. :T:D
  • Lidls wild salmon and spinich lattice pasties in the freezer are delish and salco rice pudding massive can is lovely and creamy....avoid Toppers Diet Coke its disgusting.
  • Hi

Just wanted to add that I bought Lidl's frozen thin chips and Pollock fishfingers and they were both excellent. Chips are 57p ish and the Fishfingers were just over £1 for 16 and were better than Birds Eye, and don't deplete our fish stocks. Great cheap dinner for the family!

Love Lidl's - will be doing Christmas food shop as soon as wages come through.

Anyone got any recommendations on what to buy/avoid in Christmas Chocolates? We love their blue milk chocolate bars with hazlenuts....:smileyhea

    Thanks

Lidl do cans of Iced coffee, one with espresso and one with hazelnut, both really nice and pack a nice high caffeine content (54mg/100ml compared to redbulls 28mg/100ml)

Couple of those in the morning set you up for the day!

Also I got a pack of the spiced biscuits, nice with a coffee (hot coffee that is) cant remember how much they were, they were in a blue pack (600grams)
    Missing Tesco R&R since Feb '07 :A & now a "Tesco veteran" apparently! ;)

LIDLs packet of cherry or apple crumble cake is divine! It's 99p for 400g and I can't stop cutting a slice, I only bought one yesterday and it's almost gone!

First time ever entered a Lidl on friend's recc....their fillet of wild salmon with herbs is incredible, never buying Sainsbury's fatty rubbish again....the Lidl one is 3.99 for 750 gms I think and tastes divine. Also their lobster for 4.99...

Hello, new here and thought I'd share with you.

Lidl sells a 70% cocoa chocolate, 100 g for 65p. Its superb for cooking with. I go to Lidl just to buy this at 20 bars a time, its so good!

also, tomato puree, tinned toms, ham (which is lovely) and the special offers.
    See you!
