  • Looking at the League tables I was surprised to see hardly any ratings posted to Netto!!

The snobbery rule even extends to Netto within the trio but they are the dark horses (or dogs:rotfl: )

    Seek and ye shall find.

    Do Buy-:
energy saving light bulbs 75p!!! (better than ASDA or wilkinsons 99p):money:

mobile phones at £12.99 (better than TJ Hughes £14.99).Buy now they get snapped up quickly & make an excellent choice for a kids mobile.

Geebee 3 Litre Fruit Juice 99p (My kids love them and they have great long lasting value. Quality is no difference to Robinsons or you never miss what you never had  )

NETTO do great deals with cereals so you get top brand names cheaper
    Scotts Porridge/Alpen Muesli/Quaker/Weetabix

As a rule tinned products are cheaper in Netto (including brand names) and watch out for baked beans and soup here. very cheap without sacrificing quality

    Dont Buy:-

    Havent had a problem yet!

We used to get Geebee from years back when they used to sell it a little cheaper. However the quality the last couple of years has dropped, only the blackcurrant ones that are now OKish.

The few times we went to Netto, wasn't overly impressed, so even though Netto is as close as Lidl and closer than Aldi we don't do much shopping there.
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!
(OK my English isn't great, the sciences, maths & IT are my strong points!)
  • I don't have a Netto anywhere in my area.

Delmades- in the chiller section - usually around 99p - 1.29 and much better than the ones I've tried from Sainsburys - and half the price!

    Don't buy Lidl Razor blades

Lidl triple blade disposable razors also not fit for purpose after 3 or so shaves it feels like a cheese grater being dragged over your face - this is despite the use of the excellent Aldi Excite for Men shave gel

Hi does anyone think this chocolate would be okay to use in a chocolate fountain, i'm really struggling to find anything less than £10?

It depends on what cocoa percentage you want/need to use, Morrisons own brand (and probably other supermarkets) are 50% which is probably enough for something you're going to dip sweet things like fruit into.

The Lidl one is very good though and Aldi do a lovely one which is dark chocolate with orange pieces in it for 79p.

I am talking about the mini-eco bulbs which are far smaller and more efficient , I assume you are talking about the supersized older bulbs that are an eyesore?? :naughty:
