I have just had Pain Au Chocolat x 6 in a pack for about a quid from Aldi - they are nice and buttery - especially if warmed in the oven.
Also had some Fruit and Nut milk Chocolate from Aldi in a big bar from there too - it is really good and I am very fussy about chocolate.

Has anyone bought cheap food from IKEA? Their crayfish tails are yummy as are there chocolate bars, ginger spiced biscuits and salami snacks - according to my other half.

All the gammon joints and bacon is reduced by around 40% at Lidll so I stocked up on the dry cure bacon and a gammon for the freezer.

i agree the crayfish tails are lovely but i do find i have to squeeze out loads of water otherwise they taste just like the salt water they've been sat in lol

Lidl do lovely croissants too! my ds will have up to 3 for his breakfast from the crumbs i've managed to get they seem to be very buttery in taste too
