  • Yeah got it sorted, I have windows Vista and Internet Explorer 8 Beta. The test only works with Explorer 6 or 7, so I did it on another lap top. Posting my signed contract tomorrow, training starts on the 2nd :T
Oh, my Mum had to fill in a disclosure form in October for a new job, she started the day after the check had cleared ... mid december!!!

  • :T Congratulations Sarah, well done

And Congrats to your Mum on her new job :T

A handy hint is if you have lived in current address less than 12 months you'll need extra proof of residency as it will flag on background checks and the paperwork will be delayed.
  • Thanks
Oh no I've only lived at my current address for about 2 months, what kind of additional info should i give them?
I have sent a photcopy of my driving licence and my most recent mobile bill. They have my address on, and a copy of my passport.

  • That I am not sure about :(

You're not the first in that boat though so don't worry.
I think the reason it flags up is because you won't yet be on the electoral register yet as that is only updated in October.

Either send an email to your recruiter and explain and they'll know what Experian ask for as acceptable proof.
Or, you can contact Experian direct on 01628 488 223 (Mon-Fri 0900-1730) and they will advise what you need you can then email a scan to your recruiter for it to be attached to your file.

You will just need two proof of address instead of one so make sure that you have a bill or two in you name.

Once you've applied how long does it normally take teletech to get back to you? thanks
  • I've just losty my job at woolies and this would be perfect for me at the moment but have a query.
My tenancy is up at my house in a couple of months so will be looking for a new house to rent and will be visiting letting agents over and most of these ask for emloyers details. Now due to this being a work at home job I'm wondering if the letting agents be able to contact teletech to verify my employment.
At present I'm working pt during the day in a bar so the letting agents could check with them but as its only part time so if i was working for teletech they would really need to be contactable by the agaents.

    Hi
Yeah Teletech are a company and if they employ you they should be able to write something to say you work for them
They are a proper company and have HR dept etc
So its just the same as a regular job

My form took about a week
Some peoples took about a month

    Just depends really

Teletech will still let you do the training etc without it but wont give you system IDs until the disclosure is received
So dont panic they will wait for it
