A real work at home job part 2

Hmm so it seems to be 4 weeks training for sales and 2 weeks training for CS...
I did apply for Sales, as my current job is outbound sales and previous jobs have been in inbound sales booking train tickets but they sent me assessments for CS.
My situation at the moment dictates that i can't be fussy so i didnt say anything. I hope they dont decide im more suitable for sales if the training period is 4 weeks.
Also, if CS is tech support, wouldn't most people need more training on that rather than Sales? Just a thought ...0 -
I did the CS assessments too and my interview was for CS. But there is someone listening in to the interviews that is listening for your suitability as sales.
Thats what happened with my and the others in my class.
I think we have longer training as we have to learn about every aspect of every sky package - tv, broadband (4 packages), sky talk etc etc. The computer system is quite complicated too. We have to complete LOADS of courses/assessments through Teletech Uni also.Save £4000 for tuition fees by Sept '09:rolleyes:Lose 2 stones by May:eek: -21lbs Get married for less than £5000 in May:smileyhea

I see. Thanks Sarah.
Oh well, I suppose I'll just have to see what happens. Have you been allowed to select your shifts for after training yet?0 -
No problem, good luck for your interview today!
No, I've not been told about shifts yet. I don't think you get that much choice tbh.Save £4000 for tuition fees by Sept '09:rolleyes:Lose 2 stones by May:eek: -21lbs Get married for less than £5000 in May:smileyhea

You have to tell them what days you can't do but generally you will be given Saturday and Sunday plus others
If they don't suit you can mention it ( i know they have changed some but only from 5 working days to 4 etc)but you won't find out your shifts until you are near to the end of your training. i.e. your third week of tech support training

My interview is tomorrow, not today. I've heard they're not too bad so I'm not worrying about it.
I did put down on the application forms that I would prefer Wednesday's off - I realise this won't necessarily be given - but I suppose I might as well give it a go.
If this doesn't work out I'm resorting to evening and weekend bar work, which I reeeeeeally don't wanna do but hey, what can you do.
Glad your trainings going ok0 -

I had my interview last night. It was the weirdest interview I have ever had. There was about 20 people on the line inn total and we got split into groups. I was so nervous but by the end of it I was ok. Not sure how long it will take to hear back now so fingers crossed and good luck to everyone having theirs today.

when you are put into your groups, you have 3 things to do, one was discuss in your group who had the biggest adjustment in their life and then they could tell her so not everyont. Then we got asked some questions, past work experience and why do you want to work from home. she also asked if you ever had a technical problem with your computer how did you deal with it. Then you had to type in details of a time when you helped an awkward customer or person. It lasts about 1.5 hours so prepare for that. At the end she said she would let us know either to say yes or no.
Goodluck:beer:
