i did e-mail my recruiter to ask how long it would take but she didn't get back to me. Oh well, hopefully i can schedule for another day ...

KzakQ what time is your interview tomorrow?
  • Modavida- I think that you must have been on the same training as me and I am still waiting for my Experian paperwork.

I wouldn't say that being tech minded is essentially. As long as you know how to log into a computer etc then I would say go for it :D

You may very well have been! PM me your trainer and name and we'll see ! ;)

Once you get into production, I've found it does help if you have a bit of tech knowledge - it can get you out of a lot of sticky situations that your operating system can't! Lol!

Well done on graduating! I applied for CS but got a sales role because of my previous experience and phone manner, attitude etc. Training for that is 4 weeks, not 2.

    Thank you! :rotfl:

I applied for sales also (sales is really all I know in a call centre role and because I'm good at it!), but even before my interview, I was told the sales class was full so would I do CS. No probs thought I...then started training and was told it was tech support! Lol! Thankfully, I'm not too bad when it comes to tech things or I may have found myself in a bit of a mess.

    Hey Lulaloo,

My Interview is at 3PM... Hopefully i'll be ok i have been offered a Call Center position after various phone tests in the past for DialAPhone, and i have 4 years of Customer Service and Sales Experience face2face and On the phone.

Is it like eat or be eaten in the phone interview, everyone competing against eachother or more relaxed?

    KzakQ

p.s. Is there anyone else on here who have recently had an interview or have one coming up, would be interesting to know!

Nope sorry not done that yet, Seems like everyone has a slightly different recruitment process, i haven't received any calls yet, just an email to pick an interview appointment.

Good luck getting that working, Have you tried using Firefox browser?

I had my interview earlier at 6pm and she said during the call that if it wasn't convenient now that you could reschedule to a more convenient time - so I'm sure that won't be a problem.

Now I'm just waiting to see if I got past the first interview...

I rang Human resources yesterday and she said she would send me an e-mail with another invite to an interview but the link in the e-mail doesnt seem to want to work.
I'll have to ring them again today.
Also - I'm pretty sure the job I applied for was 22 hours, and I had an e-mail saying that the hours would be 25-30. I'm not complaining, the more money the better for me. Just seems like anything goes with teletech!
