Hi,
It's a proper permanent contract, with Teletech sorting out the tax and NI. Going by the people posting on here, who've started working for them, and from my interview / contact with them, they seem on the ball, and 100% legit.
You're employed by them, and not self employed.
Have a look at http://www.hirepoint.com/athome/index.html
Hope this helps.

Hiya,
I work for teletech in the sales job too. When I first started I had problems with the credit check as I had two outstanding CCJS. I made sure I mentioned it in the application pack and when they were found during the credit check I just had to prove that I was currently paying them back through a debt management company or other arrangement and then everything was fine.
As long as they are spent or you are dealing with them then you should be ok.
They are a good company to work for and I really enjoy it!
Good luck,

Hiya H,
Thank You for the info.
Glad to hear you got on ok with the CCJs!
I'm hoping my 1 CCJ will be fine, as it was 'satisfied' in Jan 07.
My 'defaults' should (I hope!) be fine too, as they were included in the Bankruptcy in Jan '03, thus will drop off my Experian file in Jan '09.
My remaining worry is that they will take a dim view of the Bankruptcy itself
Fingers crossed, I think everything should be fine.
Thanks again,
and well done us both getting the job!
Leigh :T
PS - How many hours do you do in an average week? Also, if you don't mind me asking, how achievable are the sales targets / how does the commission work?0 -
Auddel, just a quickie........sales on Friday evenings, is it thru' to 10:00pm or 10:30pm? I've got rather confused as to what I'm supposed to be working.0

Wonder if someone could answer a rather silly question.
I am sure that I need to do a CRB but can't find any details about it in the details that I have been sent.
Am I going mad?
Thanks.January Grocery 11/3740 -
It's done as part of the experian paperwork. Also in the pack of paperwork (yellow pack) there is a part which asks of any past convictions.whinge intr.v. whinged, whing·ing, whing·es Chiefly British To complain or protest, especially in an annoying or persistent manner.0

Brilliant. Thank you. I thought that I may have had to fill in some more paperwork that I hadn't received/printed.January Grocery 11/3740

Nope it's all part and parcel of the same pack, as long as you get it all filled in and sent off you shouldn't have any issues.0
