The only thing I found with the lazy garlic is it comes in vinegar which seems to make it not taste as garlicky. I buy the frozen packs of garlic, Morrisons used to do them but now I get them from Asda, they're like little frozen cubes of proper garlic and taste as good as fresh.

I buy the packs from Morrisons. I think it says Rock Chopped Garlic on the packet, its very reasonable aswell, about 70p

I used to buy bottles or tubes of garlic puree when I first started eating it, a lot milder than the real thing though I think. I just peel the cloves now and freeze on a tray and then bag them and put back in the freezer :)

Asda do their own brand 'lazy' garlic which is useful for recipes calling for crushed garlic. I also buy fresh for recipes needing whole cloves (like roasted veg). I find it lasts quite a while in cool place but generally just buy a single bulb at a time.

It's only a bargain if you were going to buy it anyway!

I tried the garlic granules and they had an awful after taste.
I'd just buy a fresh bulb and freeze the rest which I didn't realise you could do! See learning something new everyday on here LOL!

I adore Lazy Garlic and have found it an excellent substitue for the fresh stuff.I live alone so often to buy fresh would be a bit of a waste.

I use frozen Dorot Crushed Garlic and find it marvellous. One cube equals one clove and it is very handy for people like me who live alone. I get it in Sainsbury's. They also have Chopped Basil, Coriander, Ginger, Parsley and Chilli. They cost £1.29 or two for £2.50.

I keep a tube of gia garlic puree in the fridge for emergencies

Me too. I admit I get through a lot of garlic but when I'm out... the tude in the fridge comes in handy.

It is basically garlic and oil.
