Hope all is well,I am ok :)had a good day,had a nice meal at mums went to the post office for my money,then went on a walk in the blustery wind.Chatted to friends and then came home,came on here,didnt sleep today as trying to keep myself awake.

It's a pretty good deal and some of the things would do more than 2 people, pies, were 3-4 portions & the chicken would obviously feed more.

Wow, I have sent my OH to go and have a look whilst he is out feeding the cat (not a Corrie storyline:D), hope the vultures haven't stripped M&S!

Haha! Newest poem for you all to see...and it's relatively happy. Well, I say happy....at least it's not depressing.

Imperfect Beauty
"You're beautiful", he said
Watching her vigorously brush
Her tatty flaxen hair
"But I'm not", she replied
"Have you seen the way
My skin shines?
People could use it as a mirror!
And how about the way
My hair never goes the way I want it to
No matter how much I straighten it
Or layer it with those styling products
That claim to work, but really don't?
And how about this little bit of fat
Right here?
This little bit that always seems to want
To spill out over the top of my jeans
No matter how loose they are.
And let's not forget
My legs!
Yes, these two stumpy things!
Is Santa recruiting any more elves this year?
I think I would be the perfect employee!
And oh my god, have you seen my hands?
They're tiny!
Am I a woman, or a baby in disguise?
I just can't bloody tell!
My teeth!
They're a sort of off-white colour
And far from straight!
And I thought braces were supposed to fix this sort of thing!
I guess my orthodontist was having a few off years
When he did mine!
My eyes aren't a river of blue
Especially hiding behind these
Slightly thick rimmed glasses
That make my forehead look slightly elongated
And do nothing for my eyes!
My darling, I am not perfect
I am as far from perfection
As you could get
Much like as far from a whale, as is a mouse
Why are you looking at me like that, my dear, like I'm crazy?"
"Oh, my sweet darling", he says so softly
"You are imperfect in your imperfections
And that, to me, makes you the most beautiful creation of all"

woke early today as my computer shone a green light and bugged me and kept me awake.

anyway better go back to bed or I will suffer for it later and be overtired.I had a powercut last night but it was back on at 7.30pm,dont know what caused it to fail though but at least I got my electricity back,thank goodness for mobile phones though,I certainly needed mine last night so rang parents on it to say I had no electricity.

Hi guys!
Morning all - how's you doing?
We've been having wonderful Hammer House of Horror weather here in sunny Warwickshire! You watch though, it'll be blue skies and sunshine for Halloween and then there'll be thousands of ankle-biters banging on our doors.
I also hope that we are all prepared for the 6 months of fireworks that started last week, which will now continue until the 2nd week in January!
I'd like to start the day by sending a warm to elmostreet (kati). Thank you for being brave enough to make your first post hunnie - you are more than welcome here and I'm sure you'll find all the support you need here, angel. We're going to have to be careful guys, not to confuse our katie (katie-tulip) with our kati.

I've got so much to do and what I really want to do is post away with replies here. Yes, this heralds a warning of the onset of half-term for those with Tifflets at school, and reading week (???!!!), for those whose Tifflets are at Uni. That's right - DS is coming home for a week tomorrow! So my week will be going like this:
... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...!!!

And he'd better bring his reading books with him - reading week indeed!
I'll be all right - I've got the tablets!
