Beware Mcdonalds free coke glasses

Why on earth would anyone want 6 Coke glasses that are all the same colour? They are doing two different colours each week. Thanks to my son we so far have all the glasses except the purple and yellow (these two go on promo next week).

Heck I could ask at our Mcdonalds for a free glass MINUS purchase, they cant wait to get rid of them.

How do you know they didn't? The op seems to have described it heavliy advertised meaning they've probably seen an ad on TV. The store may well not have had any POS up.

I thought that I was the only person in the world who drank coke from a glass. I saw some coke glasses advertised on TV the other night. I don't know if it was McDonalds or not. I thought that they looked very naff. May be it is just me, I am not a lover of coloured glasses anyway. It is a bit annoying when you cannot get what has been advertised. I was in Wetherspoons the other day and they did not have any coffee loyalty cards in stock.

McDs do these promos to try and get you to eat there and not KFC, Wendys, BurgerKing, Chip shop, kebab shop, pizza etc etc

so you get there and they have a laugh and show you the big finger, sorry none in stock, what !!!!!!!!!

the manager sounds like a right git not allowing the OP to come back the week after to collect the glasses.

They gave me two when I went in the other day with my little one to escape the rain... two pink ones!

Although I suppose that's not at all what you want to hear right now.

Or that they seem to bebetter quality than previous promos and do fit pretty much an entire can of Diet Pepsi in them

write to tim wetherspoon... their site has a feedback page, but that doesnt seem to register anys (nasty?) complaints..?

i cant beleive a company that size hasnt got any decent stock management in place.. especially for basic food (ran out of sauasages !!!!!!!)
