Umm, if you wanted the glasses that much, why didn't you ask about availability before you ordered...?

I very rarely use mcdonalds but was going to take my son today as he really liked the coke glasses and i thought well why not treat him, anyway i arrived about 13.45 and the place was packed so we never bothered,so this promotion is an incentive to lure in extra custom as i was going to go in because of the free glass, how many others are actually going to mcdonalds for the free glass?whether they have them in stock or not most people will still spend their money in there anyway making mcdonalds the biggest winners.

So what you're saying is McDonalds are trying to get more people to spend money in their restaurants? GENIUS! :rotfl:

That's why they call it a promotion to lure people in. Companies tend to have a disclaimer too "while stocks last".

Last sunday, 4 days into heavily advertised promotion, I ordered 6 large meals but was told no glasses were available. I asked for a receipt so that I could collect them when new stock arrived. The manager was fetched and he told me this was not possible. I would have to return and buy more meals. I think this is unfair and contacted Mcdonalds customer services. Their get-out clause is the phrase 'while stocks last'. the moral is, visit on a Wednesday or as near as possible, [or check store stock delivery day], for best chance of promotion goods. I changed my order to regular!
they have a habit or 'forgetting' at my local
i had to ask for the glass (the first time i drove off not thinking to check) the second time

they are quite funky glasses tho IMO

Quite a few smart !!!!!! on here saying she should have asked in advance for the glasses, but one presumes the promotional flyers were still up at the Mcdonalds, so therefore one woudl assume the offer is still on.
  • Eating Mcdonalds food decreases your ability to make intelligent decisions.

Scientists conducted a test between a monkey eating a healthy nutritious diet and a human eating Mcdonalds every other day along with the a nutritious diet.

The humand and monkey were tasked to complete simple tasks. Over the course of 6 months the monkey continued to make rational and intelligent decisions however the human began to make poorer and poorer judgements over the same period.

They were tasked to open a door and then raise their hand to their mouth. Thats all the test was.

It goes to show that eating Mcdonalds is not very healthy to your brain.

    Goodbye.
