  • Hi All, Just to let you Mansfield shoppers know Chesterfield Rd as of Monday will only be accepting a maximum of 5 Moc's, I've been told this by two SA's one of which I have known for a while. I don't usually listen to rumur but I am pretty sure this is legit.

Yes I heard the same looks like Oak Tree again now.
I hate the place, C.R is always more friendly.
Must follow the savings, just pray the new manager at C.R. gets pupped.
I think it`s back to Netto soon but Tesco`s got to loose in the long run if we all do the same I spend over 10 grand a year there. I try to buy everything I can from there purely because of the coupons.
Un less anyone knows if Ollerton or anywhere else locally is any good.

The previous rapidshares were removed, again any ideas why?
If posting rapidshares or offers to PM them are against the rules can mods please advise then we will know not to do it any more.

It is worth trying different SA's. Chesterfield store started saying only one internet voucher per transaction, then it was only use the vouchers if you've bought the goods - it changes every week at the mo and definitely depends on who you go to. I had one yesterday that took a handful, but couldn't use any at all the time before. Pretty much pot luck! Clowne seems to be very similar. At least the petrol in Mansfield is 2p cheaper than everywhere else!

Had a response this morning to my complaint about my vouchers being refused.

    "Thanks for getting in touch.

I am sorry for the poor experience you had in store when using the
    internet coupons.

Our current policy regarding internet coupons is as follows:

    Internet Coupons
We accept Internet Coupons under the same stringent conditions as old
    style manufacturers' coupons:
1 That they are in date
    2. They are not specific to different retailers (non Asda)
    3. We stock the product

One temporary rule until we decide a more comprehensive policy is-
Only 1 internet coupon per product item in any single transaction -
Unless the customer actually buys the product and in multiples that
reflect the number of coupons tendered.

If you need any extra help, please let us know.

    Kind Regards

    ASDA Service Team"

That's more or less what they sent me but mine went on about loads of other stuff that they will or won't accept

I printed most of my coupons off on the same day, which was a big mistake as they all ended on the same day - yesterday.

Due to the new policy of 1 coupon per day at my store, and most other Tesco's nearby having banned internet coupons, i had to throw away £10 of coupons yesterday.

I ended up shopping at Sainsbury for the first time in 6 months, as they still accept mitchum coupons and my tesco doesnt (i bought the items at 16p each :D ).

Next week i am going to Aldi, as lets face it if it wasn't for coupons, then Lidl, Netto, Aldi and Home Bargains are the way to go.

I spend over £4000 shooping per year at Tesco, but i also take family members who do not drive, and so they take the spending to over £10,000. That's not including petrol, which i always bought while i was at Tesco, but yesterday bought at Sainsbury's, or Tesco Direct.

I am glad i am now free to shop around, as being treated like scum and embarrassed in front of customers was taking its toll.

I will still shop at Tesco if they have something on offer, but my days of exclusively using them are over, and i can today feel a big sigh of relief :T

What coupons were they? The unique ones would be a big no no. I would also guess that 'reproduction' of the coupons are illegal. Even if it was the same coupon on a different server - it is still copying. No different than photocopying a coupon.

I'm not saying this stuff doesn't go on. I'm not saying your post was wrong - you were trying to help, but I think the Mods were trying to protect the site. Some forums may be less strict.

I'm not having a go at you. Just saying as I see it.

    Cheers

I think many would agree with your comments. I certainly do. My shopping has already gone down from 80% at Tesco to around 50%. Because even with my coupons, items are often less, elsewhere. If Tesco come in with the new policies as mentioned here, I will not shop there. There is no point. Within 2 miles of our house I have 5 Tesco's (yes 5) 4 Iceland, 1 Aldi, 2 Netto's, 2 Asdas, 4 Home Bargains, Farm Foods, 2 Morrisons, Lidl, 2 Somerfield and those are only a few I can think of.

The market is highly competitive. I think Mr Tesco will bear this in mind.

At the moment I have no problems with coupons. The supply. The use etc., but I'm watching this space.;)

    Good Luck All.

They were the PDF ones like I said, that anyone can print these unlimited times. It just seems strange to remove a post offering to email them to people, there was no links in my post just an offer to help.
I can't see how a PDF coupon can be an illegal photocopy it is a multiprint there are no restrictions.
