Well not strictly true it`s on a sign in front of the Chesterfield Road store in the foyer.
As from Monday only 5 coupons per customer.
Only one visit per day and coupons only taken for food purchases.
What a way to go!
Is this female logic!
So you buy a £500 quid telly and can`t get 12 quid off it?
I think in this climate they should be happy we`re buying their tellys.
O.K. sorry for the rant but I wish the old manager hadn`t left, he must have liked the extra revenue, it looks like the ships on it`s way down with a woman at the helm.
It`s Oak Tree from Monday, i`m going to the wire, then it`s back to being treated like a leper again, still i`ll take it for now to save some dosh.
I look at it like this, there must be at least 200 plus avid couponers use the store.
If we all spend plenty like me and all take our custom away.
A quick reckon up an I get at least £250,000 per annum in lost revenue.
I`m sure if they can do their maths Oak Tree`s on a winner,so long as the coupons are redeemable.
Now if I can also ask, no implore, if anyone in the Mansfield area wouldn`t mind all going en-masse to Oak Tree and please play the game (no dodgy manoeuvres).
It`s nearly Netto, Aldi, Lidl, and Home Bargains time again.0 -

Bit daft that .....
So what if, like me, you're a busy shopper & can't be doing with splitting your shop into food/clothes/h & b/house & home stuff......If i paid by CC, that'd be 4 transactions for 1 shop if i was using coupons.....
Gawd help me if i wanted to buy a DVD as well.....:rotfl:
Won't go there then.....:DAutism Mum Survival Kit: Duct tape, Polyfilla, WD40, Batteries (lots of),various chargers, vats of coffee, bacon & wine.0 -

Our male manager only allows one coupon per day.
I think its just a power thing. They don't realise they are costing their company loads of money, and just go home thinking what a good job they did, pulling up a few couponers and upsetting a large queue of people behind them in the process.0 -
Princess_Coupon wrote: »I posted earlier today on this thread (CHAT) offering to send multisheets of the PDF coupons with improved barcodes, and it was removed anyone any ideas why?
The previous rapidshares were removed, again any ideas why?
If posting rapidshares or offers to PM them are against the rules can mods please advise then we will know not to do it any more.
I found the multisheets and cleaned barcodes extremely helpful and soooooooo appreciated them. I do not take it for granted that people who go to the trouble to do this will automatically post them on the thread but it was wonderful when they did. What I particularly like about this website and thread is that people are willing to help and cooperate with each other which strengthens community spirit. Since the thread was split the community cohesion appears weakened somehow. Thank you to everyone who has been so willing to help in the past and I hope the mods can clarify the situation for everyones benefit.0 -

I heard from an SA this morning the new MOC rule applied to stores within a 10 mile radius, not sure if this is true but obiously would include Oak Tree, anyone know what the policy will be as of Monday at OT?, because I for one will be shopping there from now on if they don`t take on this new policy.0 -

Carpet Bloke. The new manager at CR is the old manager from OTL (Male) and my gut feeling is that OTL will very soon apply the same policy as CR....especially if all couponners head in that direction.
5 coupons a day is still better than some stores.......it could be worse, it could be none !!
The problem with both these stores is the huge amont of duplicate couponnet coupons that have been spent. A few very greedy shoppers have ruined it for the majority0 -
Hope the manager in my local Tesco isn't friends with the ones in the Mansfield area! My local branch will take anything with no questions asked. This week I have used £35 in coupons with no problem.
Would be so much easier if Tesco HO would have one policy that all stores had to stick to, but that is probably too easy!:j Debt free since 31/01/08:j

I still think if there are those daft enough to duplicate couponnet coupons the same people will still go in several times, and it does state one visit per day.
Why not sort out the problem, identifying counterfeit couponnet coupons.
I know they implemented certain measures to detect this but surely the couponnet system itself is at fault.
I say if you copy a couponnet coupon by any manner you Can tell!
There is only one way to do it without detection and I can`t see anyone going to the trouble.
I certainly couldn`t do it.
I too think it`s really just a power thing.
We could all bombard HO with phone calls and e-mails see if we can get this 5 coupon policy in as a national policy if it`s so good!

Hi
I work in ASDA and found out a few days ago that ASDA are no longer accepting coupons unless you buy the EXACT item on the coupon.
This was briefed out to colleagues and this takes affect as of 1st November 2008.
Sorry if this has been posted already, I don't get a chance to read through all the posts with my little ones jumping about .

Hi Karen,
Thanks for posting. It has been covered a fair bit already on here and has been met with a big thumbs down. Tesco are also tightening up.
As for your little ones jumping about. I really would cover up or go and see a doctor, before you get a reputation;):D
