Yeah, my mum works in Asda and she said they stopped a while ago. They have a big sign on their checkouts saying they dont accept competitiors coupons too.

Ive started shopping in Tesco a lot more!

  • I heard from an SA this morning the new MOC rule applied to stores within a 10 mile radius, not sure if this is true but obiously would include Oak Tree, anyone know what the policy will be as of Monday at OT?, because I for one will be shopping there from now on if they don`t take on this new policy.

From what I know OT have already brought the food coupons on food and non food coupons on non food. if you buy £1.50 worth of non food with your food you can use £1.50 worth of non food coupons. this is just stupid so now as well as keeping an eye on how muich we are spending we now need to keep check on how much food and non food there is in our shopping. i like everyone else will now be going back to home bargains, nettos aldi etc, we are lucky we have so much choice quite locally.
Has anyone seen the golden boys new domestos bleach style. i think its for the benefit of us couponers so we know when he is on with the glow coming from his head. :rotfl:
  • Did my main monthly shop yesterday at Tescos Pool store in Cornwall. SA was a lovely young lad. Took about £22 worth of MOCs including both of my Airwick £6 ones (had bought one of them). The following coupons wouldn't scan though, even when he tried to manually enter the barcodes on every one of them (bless him) he says they all came up as not being accepted yet.

    Fruitiser 50p
Tetley 40p (the newer one not the one that has just expired)
Ryvita 20p (sure I have used this before)
Mitchum £1.50 (this wasn't accepted last week either, but the £1 one was)
    Complan £1.00
    Bodyform 40p

I actually bought a couple of the Mitchum deodrants, so kicking myself now that I only took one of the £1 ones with me. But never mind was happy with £22 off - it all adds up :D and only been doing it a couple of times now but got £36 in a jar put away.

    Hi All

I'm just back from holiday and I've noticed that, yet again, all of my posts containing multi-sheets have been deleted (from both threads this time).

Does anyone know why this is happening (not just to me - I know other people have had their posts deleted)? I am reluctant to upload any more files and repost until I know that my time won't be wasted (I hope that doesn't sound melodramatic!! LOL).

It's just a shame because there are quite a few new coupons out there which I haven't uploaded before and I'm sure some people would benefit from being able to download the multi-sheets.

For the benefit of the mods - NONE OF THE MULTI-SHEETS CONTAIN ANY COUPONNET COUPONS (just in case they were worried about illegal duplication or something).

If the mods have some other reason for deleting these posts then it would probably be more helpful (to everyone on this board) to give a quick explanation here. At least then we will know not to bother posting certain things in future.

    Sorry for the long post.

Just what I have been asking, Stebiz said all copying of coupons is illegal which is weird as anyone can print unlimited, and there is no mention on them of no copying reproducing etc like on the couponnet ones. I think the best idea is to PM Browntoa the mod who cleans this thread for an explanation and guidlines.

    Hi

Hope you had a nice holiday.

As a new couponer (is that actually a word lol!) I have found your multisheet uploads fantastic. Also they are moneysaving cos usually coupons print one to a page, sometimes you can put the page back in the other way round and fit a 2nd one on, but yours are fantastic cos you usually have 4+ to a sheet so saving both paper and I would think electric in printing more sheets.

I hope you manage to find out why they have been deleted, and hopefully we can have them back, cos just reading the threads these last couple of weeks I know loads of people really appreciate them. So thanks for taking the time to do them.

I agree, the sharpened barcodes you do are excellent, and much appreciated!
  • Hi Lori and welcome home. Hope you had a wonderful holiday. Just wanted to thank you for all your help in the past with the multisheets which are very much appreciated. I only use the pdf coupons (couponnet not working on my laptop) so the multisheets with cleaned codes are particularly useful for me. Thank you for taking the time and making the effort to help us all. Hope you can get a definitive answer from the mods soon and continue your good work.

    :A

PS Does anyone have a multisheet of the Tetley Green Tea 40p coupon with cleaned barcodes by any chance?

I used most of the coupons you tried in my local Tesco yesterday, some only scanned with the hand scanner, one was entered manually and 2 scanned with no problems.

Ryvita - was entered manually without a problem
Tetley - scanned with hand scanner
    Fruitiser - scanned normally
    Mitchum - scanned normally
didn't use the other 2 that you did

Man walks into a pub with his dog where it promptly keels over with all four legs sticking in the air. Chap comes rushing over. "It's ok I'm a vet, I'll just get the cat". Scratching his head the man waits for the vets' return. Vet comes back and starts rubbing the cat all over the now deceased dog. "I'm sorry, you're dog is dead that'll be £550 please".
"£550! that's a bit steep isn't it?" retorts the dogs' owner.
Vet explains, "It's £50 for the diagnosis and £500 for the cat scan!"
