Go to Cardiff Talybont. Super duper friendly there-never been refused. Cant advise on Swansea sorry....0 -
I wondered if someone could give me a bit of help please. If I use the ss tills in Tesco's can I scan the coupons myself, and if so, do I use the large scanner or the small handheld one?
I tried to use both the other day and neither worked. The sa called over the team leader who refused to let me use any of my coupons as she said I hadn't bought any of the products, even though I politely pointed out that mr t's policy says I don't have to. She made a point of saying loudly "that can't be right or we would have people paying for all their shopping with vouchers". She was very abrupt and I felt incredibly belittled.
After this I went straight to the cs counter and insisted that they checked their coupon policy. When they finally found their copy of the policy 40 minutes later, (yes 40 minutes  ), I was given a refund for my £4.50's worth of coupons on a £35 shop, but of course no apology! In fact the team leader, who cs called across to inform that I had been right about the policy, then added insult to injury by saying that "she supposed if people were that desperate to spend the time printing the coupons then fair enough". How dare she! I was spitting feathers and I honestly don't know how I didn't give her a piece of her mind.
Anyway, sorry about the essay, but after all that as I'm sure you can imagine I am quite reluctant to use the coupons again, especially if I am trying to put them through wrongly. So any advice would be appreciated.
get onto manager at cs make the biggest fuss u can and dont let up till u get written apology and some kind of compensation; this is awful, u shud never be spoken 2 like this i wud have been shoutin twice as loud and it wud been for the top manager to come down..... in fact i have done b4 and they soon change their tune...SIMPLES!0 -
my local tesco told my sister they've changed thier coupon policy and will no longer be accepting them without purchase!
mine were accepted today so not sure it wasnt just a grumpy SA as my store has always accepted them no questions asked!
my 50% mitchum coupon wouldnt scan either so maybe mitchum have cancelled them or tescos have?0 -
After being reassured the Mitchum offer had not ended at Tesco yesterday, i set off today to stock up on deodorant. But the offer had finished. Not to be deterred, i pulled out my £6 airwick coupon and spent that instead.
Then off to Sainsburys to do my main shop, and everything i had a coupon for was reduced. I got £30 of shopping for a tenner, and actually bought all the items i should. I then filled up with petrol.
Thats £50 gone from Tesco to Sainsbury today, and a similar amount last friday, when i took a relative. So much for their new policy.0 -

My 50% Mitchum kindly sent to me by two lovely fellow users scanned today on self scan- Thank you0 -
My tesco's that has so far taken any and all coupons I could produce has also tightened up, the SA said I have been told only 50% from now on. I asked to see a supervisor, worth a try I thought, showed her the policy print off she quoted store managers discression, I said the national policy is unlimited, NO she said, so I politely said okay thats fine but I will ring CS later to check. As I was paying, OH wheeled off the shopping to the car and as he passed the supervisor station he heard her say "I hate people like that, she's got a nerve showing me policy's, I can't stand them". He didn't tell me till we were halfway home cause he hates any embarrasment and he knows I would have flown over and exploded:mad:   :mad:AKA: PC

Sorry to hear you didn't manage to get your deodorantsand to have given you duff info, but I know in our store it deffo said the 8th or 14th
wouldn't mind but I don't often look at the dates on them (well apart from when huggies baby wipes are on offer) but I specially did on this one cos I had bought it and thought if it was any good I would get some more.

Its Ok, when i said everything i had coupons for was reduced at the other store, it included the mitchums, so my disapointment was short lived. :T
My Tesco may have just taken the signs down early, to avoid the double the difference glitch.0 -
I have not been brave enough to take any coupons in to my local tesco. Its the one at critalls corner, near Sidcup. does anyone know if there good or bad at taking coupons?Never argue with a fool, they will lower you to their level and then beat you with experience.........!!!:rotfl::T0

Amonkey - most of your rapidshare links are fraudulant copies of couponnet coupons - please stop promoting these and using them in shops otherwise you will ruin it for everyone else.
However, there was one decent Heinz coupon you posted. Perhaps post that please and none of the dubious/duplicate ones.0
