I can confirm that it was amonkey who posted those links. The post was deleted that's why he only has one post now.
First of all, thank you to amonkey for being kind enough to share!!action-smiley-033.gif

I can understand (and thank!) people cleaning up the bar-code (on a freely and unrestricted downloadable coupon) and posting so that the coupon scans easier and saves everyone time, however, the (restricted and with unique ID code) coupon-net coupons were not only scanned, but have also had the dates "doctored". (extending them all until the year end!)

WARNING the use of these coupons could be classed as "obtaining goods by deception" speechless-smiley-040.gif
    s15 TA68 states:
    (1) A person who by any deception dishonestly obtains property belonging to another, with intent to permanently depriving the other of it shall on conviction on indictment be liable to imprisonment for a term not exceeding ten years.
    (2) ...a person is to be treated as obtaining property if he obtains ownership, possession or control of it and 'obtain' includes obtaining for another or enabling another to obtain or to retain.
    (3) the s6 definition of intention to permanently deprive applies to the s15 offence.

If everyone played by the rules it would be so much easier!
I can only re-iterate what has been said so many times on this thread....PLEASE do not abuse the store coupon policies......it may save you a couple of quid in the short term but it will cost you AND THE REST OF US on this forum, an awful lot more in the long run......THANK YOU
It's nice to be nice .....
You HAVE checked google before asking, haven't you?;)
If you use the "search this thread" button at the top of the page, you may find it's been answered already!;)

Just to let you all know. I heard from a customer service manager that always takes all coupons, that they will be stopping taking coupons if you haven't bought the item in a certain Tescos in Nottingham. The reason being that a family had been returning 3 times a day when the shifts change to put more coupons through, but it has been picked up on CCTV. She wasn't sure how long it was going to take, but said it will be implemented in that store VERY soon. If it was someone on here........thanks for ruining it!

I thought i read that it was a member of Tesco staff using forged coupons, but the relevant post on the none chat thread as been removed, for obvious reasons. Perhaps those it the know could enlighten us on this thread.

As for Tesco's response, every day people steal from Tesco. They don't ban ALL customers from entering. Every day people use stolen credit cards, yet they don't stop accepting ALL cards. So when some greedy cretin decides to copy coupons, then its up to them and the coupon company to make it impossibe, not take it out on ALL coupon users.

With your kind of attitude on (NO CHAT printable thread) do you ever wonder why we dont post any more new printable voucher(s)?

I would appreciate if you could expand on what you mean by this comment please
  • Well, by pass CS for starters as I don't think they have a clue.

Always go when it is busy, then usually the cashiers don't make a fuss as they don't want a queue to develop.

Pick your cashier carefully, avoiding any middle aged women is usually the best policy (and I can say that as I am a middle aged woman!). Personally favour nice young men (as cashiers that is) and always make a joke about the coupons I am presenting, saying something like "can you see if any of these go through please, I am a bit skint this week!".

I am beginning to think they are getting used to me though, as this week the lad serving said, "any coupons today?" before I had chance to get them out my pocket!

    Good luck trying.......;)

Hi and thanks for the useful advice. I am due to go into the big store tomorrow and (depending upon how brave I feel) may give it another go with a few coupons. Thanks again.

  • Remember the £2.40 Eve MOC we loved and used, well I'm wondering if we have contributed to their downfall.

    Taken from the EVE website:
And we're even more sad to announce that the November issue of the magazine (Out October 1) may well be the last-ever edition of Eve.

The tough economic climate has made it impossible for us to go on publishing our much-loved title.

We'd like to take the opportunity to thank you, our lovely EveWeekenders, for being such loyal clickers.

Wishing each and every one of you good health and great happiness.

I emailed them and they confirmed current issue is the last.

Haymarket Media Group, the owners of Eve, made a pre-tax profit of £31.7m in the last financial year.

Does anyone know if Tescos are tightening up, when you don't buy the item? At the weekend they would take coupons to less than 10% of my shopping, including ones where I bought the goods! And yesterday at a different Tesco, they would not take any at all!

It really depends on which branch you go to and which SA you choose in that branch. I am lucky my local branch take all my coupons on every visit with no problems. Just a shame that all branches aren't as coupon friendly.

  • My offer is still open to any of those stars who've cleaned up barcodes on LEGIT and fully legal vouchers who keep having to upload to their various sites for us to download.

I do not want to get "thanks" or things like that, put if anyone emails me (obviously a legit) page of proper coupons, not couponnet ones. I'll upload it and pm you back with the link for you to post.

They'll then stay on the link until someone tells me to remove them.
