Denise - big hugs about your Mum. Let us know how she gets on. I'm sending healing vibes.
Vanilla - excellent news about Bo. And I've just looked up the new items about the floods in Norn Iron - it looks pretty bad! 75% of August's normal rainfall in one day is quite staggering.
It's pouring with rain here this morning - and has been most of the night but it's nowhere near as bad what Ireland had. Right, off to do the work thing. My project still isn't ready apparently but I need to be professional and go in and find something to do and be there just in case something urgent comes up - two colleagues are on leave this week.
The dog will have to stay home today - there's works going on in my building so the directive has come down: No dogs on site whilst it's being done. So I'll probably go off into town at lunchtime and start the hunt for the frock for the ball at the end of the month.
Have a good day ladies.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Hi everyone, can I join?
Have been getting the emails and.... well, you know the rest, although I do try to keep up with my swish & swipe just coz it's sooo easy to do. Do you all 'shine your sink?' and 'dress to toes' each day?
I am going to start small at level 1 till i get it into my routine and build up slowly - was really chuffed to see that I had already completed today's task of kitchen sides - must be a mindreader... :j especially as I leave for work soon and won't be home till about 6pm (hence I REALLY need this).
Anyway, please count me in. Do I need to post a list or anything or just do the chores each week that is on the first page? all help gratefully received...LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -
Hi Denise
It's up to you how you do it. Lots of us post a list of what we need to do and then cross it off when we've done it. Or just post what you've done. Some people hardly ever post but just follow the lists.
I don't get dressed to my shoes every day and I know a lot of people on here don't but I do try and s & s and it's nice to come down to a clean sink in the morning.
Do as much or as little as you like/can - it's a great place for support and everyone's welcome.

Thanks for your help, that sounds great.
Must admit, couldn't get the hang of wearing my shoes indoors - but think the idea of getting showered & dressed good - I know I can nip out at a moments notice then if I need to without the mad rush coz I'm usually doing housework in my dressing gown... (proper hilda ogden, just no rollers...:rotfl: )
Thanks again for letting me join - here's to a clean and tidy house! (I can dream!)
