    morning all

I probably won't manage to post tonight as working late, I'm not going to do more than a S&S in the kitchen as it had a good going over yesterday when i was playing catch up. very wet here this mornign - hope it improves as i'm leading a walk tonight and it'd be a shame if it rains then as it puts people off!

just seen the time, i should be leaving in 20 mins so better get my backside into gear and have a shower and breakfast and go! i can go in whenever today as i'm working late but i'd prefer to have the time back later in the week than hang around at home this morning!

Morning all! This is the last day of the holidays for us! I don't know whether to be happy or sad. DS11 is happy as he can't wait to start at secondary school tomorrow. However, as mentioned all ready, it might be a short start to school if they are closed on Wednesday!!
I also work for the council and I've got two choices - either find childcare for DS or strike myself. I haven't decided about the strike thing yet. Fortunately, I've got a pre-booked half day on Wednesday so it'll only be for the morning.

Today I'll be doing the kitchen in the morning and then moving through to DS11's bedroom to make sure he's got everything ready for school.
