Just been through the pots of paint in the garage and I don't have any which will do for the kitchen but I have successfully flung a load of empty pots.

I choose to buy eco friendly paint mail order but now am in a predicament as to what to buy - I can see me scrapping the decorating before I start at this rate.

Teenager being absolutely vile again, even his brothers want nought to do with him today - hormones. Think little one is coming down with something, even middle one said is he alright he keeps crying today. I feel I'm coming down with something so think a glass of fizz is in order!

Denise hope your MIL makes a quick recovery.

Sammyjig he was 3 in july.

MrsV thats what i'm afraid off him catching the frame on the table or chairs.

Bo got out again for a bit of a walk about in the grass and the vet is so pleased with the way he's going, he said he'll want to see him at the end of the week.

Vanilla Glad Bo has managed to have a bit of a wander but I would be worried too; here's a pic of my little minx just before she got out in the garden and performed a surgical removal of her two drains!

Didn't do much flying today but did meet up with 2 of the other teachers from school and managed to sort out timetables and some planning, and went to the craft bank to get some useful bits :T

Will have to attack 2 days' worth of flying tomorrow

Well I have a busy week ahead of me (mostly my own doing :o ) and I have loads of stuff to list on ebay so I'm taking a few more minutes out while the WM finishes then I'll get cracking in the kitchen including a fast declutter of looking in the cupboard to see if there's anything not used etc which could go on ebay. I can see any free time this weekend (not spent studying) being spent doing ebay listings

Going to keep the list fairly short so lets see ....

    Monday Marvels - Kitchen
    Level One
    Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
    Level Two
Sweep and mop floors - need to clear all the stuff of it first :o
    Sort & clean the fridge

    Level Three
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
Wipe & declutter all the windows sills in these areas!!
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..
Check those washing machine filters and drawers for ickiness!! Tumble dryer, cooker hood and dishwasher filters need to be done too!!

    Also need :
    • Wash dishes
    • Make pack-up for tomorrow
    • Get bag ready for tomorrow.
    • Research on the net for stuff for tomorrow.
    • Shuffle ebay stuff so I can stack it all up properly.
    • Put recycling out
    • Bed after setting ALL alarm clocks :o I will get up before 9am tomorrow.
Right, toilet and then to get started....

Popping in before I head out the door for the day . . .

Thank you everyone for your good thoughts for MIL. She was slightly improved yesterday morning, and the doctors have said that she will need intensive rehab. OH is going up this morning and I'll visit after work.
Lanny - I'm impressed at how you are tackling your dining table. Well done to you!
Large family stuff - loving it all - I had to stop at four unfortunately - and I have four boys, so you can imagine all that was said to me about being upset not having a girl!!!

Most of yesterdays list was achieved - small tho it was LOL

    Today:
    Get something out for dinner
    Washing on line
get business accs up to date
    Work
    Budget meeting 2pm
    Visit MIL
Put clothes away from two days ago . . .

MrsV she's so cute poor pet, if you don't mind me asking what happened? I'm not to worried about him in the garden because he can't move that fast and one of us is with him all the time. I've moved one off the seats out of the livingroom but worry he'll catch himself on the coffee table so i follow him about like a bad smell (he looks at me like i'm half mad:rotfl:) he should have the external bar removed in 3 weeks so that should make it a little easier. He just can't sit still and keeps eyeing up the sofa.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Well initially we thought she had torn a muscle as there was a small lump on her hind leg. Vet checked it and wasn't worried but it kept getting bigger so we took her back.

Did lots of tests and eventually diagnosed it as an infiltrative lipoma (basically a fatty lump but it had grown into the muscle rather than just as a seperate lump iyswim).

She needed a complicated operation to remove it, so we had to take her to a specialist at the University of Cambridge Vet college.

She was there for 3 weeks as it just would not heal properly, and they wanted to send her to a vet in the USA as what she had was so rare  but we just wanted her home.

Anyhow, they never did manage to remove it all and it has continued to grow (about the size of a small football now) but she manages most of the time. The problem is she still thinks she is a puppy and just doesn't understand why she can't charge about like she used to! She does so well bless her but is on permanent painkillers now, and as she is 12 we just try to make sure she has as happy a life as possible (in other words she is totally spoilt :rotfl: )

She still manages to scramble up onto the sofa though; she considers it her throne and surveys all the goings on in the house from a position of comfort!
