Hello all

well, my sister & I managed to pack her entire bedroom - clothes, shoes & all!! :T so that's one more room out of the way for her (and loads of stuff for freecyclers too!).

I have almost cleared the dining table now. I've actually sorted through everything on there rather than just move the stuff around the house so that's why it's taken so long and it is nice to reclaim the space in my kitchen.

Who knows, we might even be able to eat a meal off there one of these days :rotfl:

Think I'll go and have a look at the organised home site - you just can't beat dreaming of the impossible....:D

Evening everyone have been flat out today, it's DS1's birthday and he's a big five. Haven't had a chance to catch up on the thread so big hugs to all who need it.

Our oh so lovely architect forgot to put some paper work in and now we have to the 26th to get it in or the grant will be refused:eek: of course the fella has his phone switched off.:mad: :mad: :mad: So i'll track him down tonight same with builder no paper work from him yet, i'm so cross it's unreal. Totally sick off being messed about by these people.

Right plan now is phone calls and bed early.

Well I have done ok today - not brilliant but ok - dont seem to manage any more than this every time - must try harder ...........

Monday Marvels - Kitchen
Level One
[STRIKE]Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces [/STRIKE]Done
Level Two
[STRIKE]Sweep and mop floors[/STRIKE] Done
[STRIKE]Sort & clean the fridge [/STRIKE]Done
Wipe dining table.. (clean table cloth if necessary)
Level Three
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
[STRIKE]Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc [/STRIKE]Done
[STRIKE]Wipe & declutter all the windows sills in these areas!! [/STRIKE]Done
[STRIKE]Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..[/STRIKE]Done
[STRIKE]Check those washing machine filters and drawers for ickiness!! Tumble dryer, cooker hood and dishwasher filters need to be done too!![/STRIKE] Done
Extra Mission : help yourself

[STRIKE]S&S over the hob and oven [/STRIKE]Done
[STRIKE]Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk! [/STRIKE]Done
32 fling boogie..
GO! buy yourself a treat.. you deserve it! I forgot!!!
[STRIKE]Empty the bin.. wash it out.. and make it smell SWEET [/STRIKE]Done
Also did 2 hours computer training, wrapped 9 things from ebay and took them to post office, collected prescription and have a huge pot of mince thingy in slow cooker for tea tomorrow and to put in the freezer.:D

Everybody has been really productive today - well done!!:j

Hi Toots and anyone else who is barking mad about Christmas!

Here 'tis! Being a lazy mare I especially like the Americanisms such as telling me to clean my porch swing and fly screens and to bake ready for thanksgiving!!!

Finally got DS room finished!!! Hooray!!!!

Just a few more things to do then we're sorted (hopefully) ready for the new term!!

Thanks Tag - I suppose its the perfectionist bit in me - and thats what always makes life harder because you want it all perfect!! I am learning to control it and be satisfied with 'it will do fine' lol!!!

But I must try harder - I am hardly doing any daillies only pipens list plus the DW and make my bed and S&S the loo and any washing so thats not very good!!!

Thanks also for the prayer - its not as I remember it but I think thats the one it must be - its that long since I heard it.:A

Don't count on it.. mine was emptied when it was the strike here!!! I am totally against this strike anyway.. they have been offered double the pay rise my hubby got and he isn't complaining.. And... (then I'll shut up!!) I they don't collect them Wednesday the councils (or many of them) pay the same workers overtime!!! for collecting on Saturday... doesn't take a PhD to work that one out does it?
