14 day return for any reason means you have security if you are unsure of any aspect of the deal.
Thats no use when you're 3 months in and the T&Cs have more grey areas than Blighty itself and you're left paying £30 p/month ......its a good deal but write the T&Cs in english first!0 -
well just tried to order.

If this is the usual cash back type deal, the line rental isn't free as such. You pay it in full to the network. The cashback is normally a retailer offer, not a network one.
I *think* it works something like this. For every person the retailer signs up the network pays the retailer a fee. The retailer decides they can run a promotion using this fee, for example a cashback deal. You sign up and pay the network their normal monthly fee and then claim your cashback at the agreed time. The reason you have to wait a few months is that the network doesn't pay the retailer their fee until then to make sure the customer has stayed with the network, or on the tariff.
That's maybe over simplifying it but it seems to be how it works based on what I have read. I guess the retailer does hope that some people do forget to claim.0 -
I note from the redemption offer that you need to send 'a copy of your receipt' with each cashback claim. Does anyone know what this 'receipt' is when you are ordering through the internet?0

if they put the original number on the claim forms, then you submit the bill with a ported number, it doesnt sound like it would be valid...
If they operate in the same way as carphonewarehouse/onestopphoneshop then there it will be fine.As the number port is fully logged there should be no problems anyway. If in doubt ask the link.To infinity and beyond!0 -

Martin@thelink: Welcome to our live chat service. How may I help you today?
judith: Hi - it's about the nokia 6630 12 months free line rental offer - on the form it says you need to stay connected to the tariff to claim the cashback - the problem is that you claim some of the cashback after 18 months. Do you have to stay connected for 18 months to get the 12 months free line rental cashback even though it's only a 12 month contract?
Martin@thelink: I'm sorry for the delay. I'll be right with you.
Martin@thelink: No you can disconnect at 12 months but we are currently out of stock and don't know when we will get them back in.
judith: thanks very much - is it worth trying again later today?
Martin@thelink: We may get them in we're just not too sure at the moment.
judith: thanks Martin - bye
