It's not sent together with the sales receipt. Strange.

Hi. See the links in my post above.

    All the best,
    BlackCat.
  • there is a 14 day cooling of period on all mobile phone contracts. (also under mail order regulations)

    So you can cancel it.
  • That's a good suggestion Andyblizz but we've started using the phones already. I can't believe that I've been so stupid.

I get the horrible feeling that I've made a big mistake with this offer. I bought two 6630 mobiles on the 9th November, which seems to be between the two periods in which you could buy these phones and get cashback.
    ...

Please could someone tell me when during the ordering process that it tells you the date in which you must order to be eligible for cashback and when in the ordering process that it gives you access to the cashback forms?

    Many thanks,
    BlackCat.

I've uploaded the claim form pdf to the following site, it clearly says "applicable on purchases from 4/11/2005 to 31/11/2005 so you should be covered with it :)

Hope that helps everyone who is worried about this offer.

OK just did some link on screen talking and this is what they said.
Conning buggers...all along they were telling me to go ahead the link is active by the way then they said there was no problem claiming after 18 months without being connected from 12 months where most would back out ,obviously! Then asked about the porting of numbers which was answered with shouldnt be a problem (very vague) but then when asked if the receipt has to match the dates on the cashback as it was a weekend deal he said "I apologise that is the case and it would not be eligible for those reasons" so you`ve all been warned i nearly did it. anyone who did it on the weekend was fine its us poor mugs who are perceveering with the old link that would have or will suffer!! hope this helps. Plus i found it amost impossible to play around with the address bar so that i could include Quidco, so you are more talented than me (to the chap who did it in earlier post)

It is possible and quite easy let me know if you still want to buy it through quidco and I will tell how I managed it
  • p5x, thank you soooo much!

Interestingly the form you have uploaded has the same reference number LKD05-175 ST1 as one on the forms I have linked to on The Link website. Difference being the date you could buy the mobile during.

    Cheers,
    BlackCat.

I am confused. Is the offer still running or not? Everytime I have 'talked' to one of their agents online they have told me no. Has anyone ordered it recently and can they confirm that the cashback offer is still running?
  • I tried ordering via the link on Monday and it accepted my order but when logging into my account it stated: Stock Query - we will UPDATE you shortly by email or phone.
The following day a rep phoned me asking if I would like to change my order as it was not in stock. I then asked when the phone would be back in stock again and after a pause, whilst he said he was checking, I was told thelink did not plan to order any more. I was then asked again if I was interested in any other contract, to which I stated unless they had a similar deal I wasn't.

The phone still appears in my account but I'm guessing I won't get lucky.
