I have just had my tea - I cracked open a can of soup (another Heinz Market Garden thing - I hate them but have to eat them) and had it with some bread. Only two tins of Market Garden soup left, one tin of Heinz Oxtail and a tin of Lidl ravioli.
I only have a washing line or a clothes horse to dry my clothes so I will either use some Lenor Ruby & Jasmine softener or will spray the room with Glade Clean Linen spray to take away the scent of damp clothes.
Am feeling a little better this afternoon and will probably have an early night but I have to watch some more of the awful daytime tv:D
Have fun with the studies tonight Strumpet.

Hi Strumpet - glad the studies are going well. I NEVER trust the weather forecast!!
Hi Horace - glad you are feeling better - enjoy your daytime TV tomorrow.Debt free and Keeping on Track0 -
Hi Guys,
Just popped in to say that I've just about had it with the study for one night. I started at 6:30pm and stopped for 45 mins to cook and eat dinner. Wanted to get Ch 3 & 4 out of the way but only half way through Ch 3 cos the subject matter is really turgid, boring and difficult.
Gonna keep hoing til 9:45 then off for an early night. No point struggling. It's a howling gale outside and the rain is lashing. House feels cold and I think I'll be better off in bed. My next study session is booked for Sunday on my timetable when I need to start Ch 5 (14 chapters in all) so I'll try and fit another session in before then to make up the time. Trouble is, I'm *SO* busy this week and have to find time to run through all my music for Saturday's concert.
Just too tired to take it all in now so I'll continue for a bit and if it's a no go, I'm off to bed. Bit disappointed that I never got further tonight.
Speak tomorrow

Tuesday 30th Spetember 2008
Had a very good night's sleep last night from 10pm until 7:30am (9½ hours) which probably meant that I needed it! Still feel a bit tired this morning though.
Going for another NSD today to round off the month at 9 out of 30 (30%)
Actually, when I take out £195 for dentist, I actually will have spent less than I earned in September so at least that's on the correct side of things!
Practiced my music for Saturday's concert last night. I last sang this work (Messiah) in December 2006 and I was amazed at how little I actually needed the music. It all came flooding back along with all the memories of that concert which was my first professional concert as a solo counter-tenor. I am now really fired up for Saturday - it is going to be *SO* fabulosa!!!
Month End at work today - no rest for the wicked and we have had our best sales month ever. Great news considering the economic climate out there!
Bellringing practice tonight at Heptonstall but I might not go. Might stay in and see if I can finish of Ch 3 instead. No temptation to go to the pub then is there?
Chilli and last night's vegetables for lunch - tasty. Don't know about dinner though - might be bacon rolls as the bacon needs eating up. I can think of worse things to eat though!
Will call in later if I have chance - off to do a VAT return now. Happy Days!

It's personal month end too this evening at midnight.
Figures will be stated tomorrow.
I will now be able to have a go at my SOA (so you can all have a laugh).
I'm happy with September because:
1.Spent less than earned (not counting Dentist fees of £195)
2.Got 9 NSDs
3.Spent only £80.72 on groceries out of a budget of £100! (Thanks to the freezer!)
4.Got a refund on my council tax for sole occupancy
5.Found my post office book and all the cash therein! (about £180)
6.Made an extra £55.52 on top of my salary - will do better in October using Ebay for a start
7.Made loads of new friends on MSE - money can't buy these!!!
I'm not happy with September because:
1. If I'd gone to the dentist regularly, I would have saved £195 perhaps
2. Spent too much on diesel (£190) - although £75 of this was for holiday
3. Did not take advantage of some Tesco vouchers I had before they died
4. Had a night out I didn't want or need which cost me £18.19!
5. Sold nothing on Ebay in spite of promising myself that I would.
Will post the actual debt figure for the month ending 30-09-2008 tomorrow.

Hi there Strumpet
I took your advice and had an early night and slept in til 10.15:j I feel loads better and was even strong enough to drive to the village to go to the bank - needed to pay in an HB cheque so I don't need to dip too much into my overdraft:j Also invested in some Covonia Balsam for my new cough.
Sorry Lucille - I did try to keep the germs to myself, although I have passed a few around today:j
Strumpet - I will swap homework with you - you can do the assignment on 4 different food themes for a wedding and I will do your accountancy one as that sounds easier than mine:D
Well I am off to watch Neighbours now (how sad is that).
Hope y'all have a good day.0
