    Hi MrsP

Welcome to Strumpet's not so humble abode - these sponge fingers are really yummy and Dragon was kind as she made me a mug of tea:D

Policemen have no sense whatsoever and think they are above the law - I can remember reporting one for using his blue light to beat the traffic and I found him in the chippy buying a bag of chips (it wasnt life or death as far as I could see:rolleyes: ). Anyway lags in prison hate coppers so no doubt he that was sentenced is having a lovely time in prison - lets hope he remembers not to bend over to pick up the soap in the shower:eek:

I had best update my diary a bit - I have done something extra today and I have been tearing my hair out plus I have had to spend - when the business starts earning I will claim it all back:D

Strumpet - why do you need a company car? Can you not use a bicycle or a small economical car or one that runs on chip fat?

If you have run out of bogroll, and you have some newspapers handy just cut them into squares bodge a hole in the corner and hang them up by the loo with a piece of string:rotfl:

When we ran out of bog roll Dr Dragon got a roll of kitchen towel and a hacksaw and cut it in half - voila instant bog roll!

Oh Strumpet the best thing about the ex-copper and prison, most prison officers are ex-forces - I was invalided out because he was a stuff wit - so not only was he in solitary but the screws hated him as well! I understand his 3 months in there were a total nightmare!!

Ironically. it's cheaper for me to have a company car.

    Company Car Costs:
£44.16 / month Taxable Benefit (Taxed as income £530 / year)
    £150.00 / month Diesel
    £0 Road Tax
    £0 Insurance
    £0 Maintenance & Tyres
    £0 Breakdown costs

    Own Car:
Actual monthly payment for the car
    Diesel £150 / month
    Car Road Tax
    Insurance
    Maintenance & Tyres
    Breakdown Cover

So I'm definately better off. My big motor spend is diesel - I do have a bike but it's a time thing more than anything. Work is 19 miles away by motorway so further and decidely more hilly via A roads / back roads. Would keep me fit though. Might investigate.

As for bog roll - what's wrong with your left hand and a squirt of dettol handwash?

    Where has this conversation gone?

(((hugs))) to you Strumpet. I don't think a slip of circa £240 is bad especially as all you've done this month.

The only biscuits I can find are digestives - pooh

Hmm could you put some chocolate spread on them and make them more "snazzy"?

    Hi there Strumpet,
Just read your whole diary and what an interesting read.I've really enjoyed it.
Don't worry too much at being further in debt as had you not been trying then your debt would've been a lot higher.
Well done for going to the dentist..you brave boy..
My daughter used to live in Darwen (Redearth rd)...hope you've had a good day x

Thanks for your support. I just realised that I hadn't counted the M&S voucher for £30 - that's got a cash equivalent hasn't it! Actually, if I were to buy from M&S, if I asked my dad's wife to buy my stuff for me, she gets discount for being an employee so my £30 would go even further. Not sure I want anything from there though. Perhaps I'll give the voucher to my mum for her birthday as that would save me buying her a present (always struggle to find things to buy her and she'd find it useful). This would effectively convert it to cash.

I'm not too despondent - in actual fact, I rather enjoy the challenge of becoming debt free again. Weird isn't it!
