Very pleased with myself - just been shopping in Morrisons and I had set myself a budget of £25. Now remember that I am living mainly out of the freezer this month so no meat to buy and other expensive stuff, but still very pleased to have bought lots of comestibles for :T £18.75:T
Bought some Warburtons Orange fruit loaf as a treat for being so good.
Hope you're all having a good evening. Off to cook my fish for supper / lunch tomorrow. Was going to put the chicken for tomorrow's dinner in the oven at the same time to save on gas but not completely defrosted yet so daren't risk it.
Might pop back later!

Well done Strumpet - although I must admit that I hate Morrisons.
Have never eaten Warbartons orange fruit loaf - we don't have such yummy things here:rolleyes:
Well best go and pack my stuff, am off to stay with my ex tomorrow after I have been to the NEC. Have a very early hospital appointment on Wednesday hence the need to poke my head in my old place, maybe I will pick up more of my belongings.0 -
Mmmmn - orange fruit loaf ...... stop tempting me you wicked boy! :-D (I'm doing my own smilies the old fashioned way! lol)
Glad you had such a good weekend - and well done on the budgeting - excellent stuff!0 -
Morning all - just thought I'd pop in and say hello while the iron is warming up.
Got a good feeling about today - going to be a good MSE day I think. Going for NSD #4 so watch this space!
More when I get into work.

Tuesday 16th September 2008
Hello all! Hoping for NSD #4 today so wish me luck! Very pleased with only spending £18.75 of my budgetted £25 in Morrisons last night. Helps me reconcile the fact that I had to spend £2 on lunch as I literally had nothing in the house I could take into work!
OH is coming round tonight and staying over. That'll be nice - no electric blanket required tonight - don't know what it is at the moment but I am so cold in bed - whoops!I'll rephrase that! I'm not sleeping too well as the bed is so cold, even with double duvets.
Enjoyed the cod salad I had for dinner last night, and it was healthy too. Not sure about the 4 slices of Orange Fruit Loaf I had for pudding though!!!:rotfl:
I have set my oven to begin cooking the chicken at 5pm so it will be ready by 6:45pm. Got some nice fresh veg too. OH appreciates a hearty dinner.
Naffed off a bit because the road over Widdop moor is closed at the moment whilst they try and stop it falling down the mountainside into the stream 100ft below! This is a pain as it means I have to go to Heptonstall ringing practice via Long Causeway which adds an extra 7 miles of diesel guzzling roads! 14 if you count that I have to come back that way too! Grrr:mad:
Right - off to do some travail now. Speak later and have a good day y'all!:TNIL ILLEGITIMUS CARBORUNDUM!Nov Grocery Challenge: £0.00 / £150.00
