Horace wonders if 'he' is too late for a brew?

Morning Strumpet - glad that you are managing a few NSDs and that you have been busy baking (could I borrow you? I hate baking and I am no good at making pastry).

Good luck with the bingo - I can never get my head round it, they say that its free but then I find that I have to pay money in to get money out so I don't bother:rolleyes:

Today is a busy day - am writing up my price list and getting prepared for a second meeting to discuss my website. Hopefully, my bartering skills will have worked because there is no way that I can afford £250 a day for 10 days work:eek: I have bartered typing and telephone answering skills in exchange, plus some free advertising.

    Watch this space.

I'm feeling a little sick, I made jaffa cake bars at the weekend, cos I knew I'd be alone in the office for 2 1/2 days, but I've not stopped until I've eaten the entire heap I brought in for today. :D

 dunno why I can't stop if they're there. :o

Ha ha ha! Now it's my turn to nag!!!!:p

You shouldn't have taken them all in on day 1 should you? Honestly mother, what am I to do with you?
I looked up a remedy on the net but there's no cure for overdosing on "smashing orangey bits".

    Hope you feel better soon!

With I think - we all deserve a treat what with this awful weather an so on!

    Sml:
Of course you can have a brew - pull up a cup!

    Horace:
Never too late for a brew for you chuck! as for the bingo, where Bingo Night live is concerned I think they just send you a cheque if you win. No hassle - all you have to do is register and remember to log on and request some cards. Don't even need to be watching the programme!
    Good luck with the bartering!

Off to cook my pasty now - yum yum!

  • Morning my luvvlies!

Had to spend £20 on diesel this morning because I have to go to college tonight and the car was never going to get there otherwise!:D Still, it hasn't ruined an NSD as I have to purchase milk, bread, butter and veg today - the fridge is bare! Still living out of the freezer / cupboards though - got some nice beef steak for dinner and having spag on toast for lunch to use up the last of the bread which is a bit stale but toasted it will be fine!!

    Moneysaving today:
    1. Prepared a flask of coffee for college this evening (had to "borrow":D a little milk from work as mine finally ran out!);)
    2. Brought lunch from home;)
    3. Dinner from freezer;) (again!)
    4. Central Heating still not switched on inspite of it being VERY cold last night. OH was away so I had to wear bathrobe in bed under a 13.5tog duvet!!!!:D

What moneysaving things have you done today chaps?

    Have a good day all!

    Morning Strumpet

Have no idea if my day is an NSD because I have made a phone call using my work mobile - the SIM came with £5 credit plus I signed up for a deal where if I use the phone for 5 minutes then I get free minutes:D I had to suss out my competition and I learnt a lot from what they didn't say which has given me yet another idea for my business:D Thinking about it, it probably is an NSD today because the SIM card was free:j and I haven't used the £5 credit yet either.

Now my chicken breast has thawed out, I can have that for dinner tonight - another cheap meal thanks to Moski. Lunch will be soup again - I opened a packet last night for tea so will have the remainder today.

Not much planned for today - just twiddling with my price list, I want to get the words exactly right plus I need to think about the feasibilty of organising weddings abroad.

Strumpet - it wasnt that cold last night, just get yourself a pair of fleecy bed socks and wrap yourself in the duvet and you will be fine. Last night I had the window open (it stays open all year), I crawled under my summer weight duck down duvet, slung my dressinggown at the end of the bed where my tootsies are and slept - oh and I wore my birthday suit too:eek:
