I am not eating much - my appetite has disappeared although I have managed to chomp my way through some mini toblerones today, the remainder of a packet of potato sticks and some fresh cooked chicken and a mug of cupasoup:rolleyes: Ex OH is trying to invite himself up for the weekend and I am trying to find an excuse for him not to come up - I think the fact that I need to wash my hair might be a way of putting him off (I am not allowed to wash it due to bending heads and getting face wet - so you can imagine:eek:). I will eat what I can - I shall start on the grapes this afternoon:cool:
Dragon - I hadnt thought of asking Waitrose if I can use the voucher for something else, I shall try doing that.
Today I have been mainly chomping and slobbing on the sofa in front of the tv - oh and I found 2 free London newspapers that had been chucked on the floor so I read them too:cool: I am also contemplating what to have for dinner tonight - maybe a bread roll and some chicken or maybe something else if I can be bothered to cook.0 -
How is everyone today?
I managed two NSDs one yesterday and one today.:j
Dietwise yesterday was a complete disaster:eek: I just couldn't stop eating.
Today much better I have managed to stick to it and even resisted a biscuit in a meeting. Just going to go out for a walk along the cliff path with DH. After a morning of rain the afternoon and evening is lovely and sunny.Debt free and Keeping on Track0 -
Hi all
Yesterday was torture - I had the hunger for some biscuits but it was raining and I couldnt go out:eek: found some Soreen maltloaf in the pantry and ate some of that instead. Still not eating much:rolleyes:
Last night I was in a total panic as my glasses fell apart as I took them off - never in my whole life have I had glasses come apart:eek: I rampaged around my flat looking for my special screwdriver but couldnt find it so tried to use a normal one which was a bit too big - I got myself into a right old flap:rolleyes: This morning I vowed to wear my reading glasses and get the bus to town to visit an opticians in the hope that they could fix my distance glassses but I decided to have another look for my special screwdriver - the house fairy must have taken pity on me because I found it right in the place I looked last night and couldnt find it - so in true MSE style I have now fixed my own glasses:j
The anaesthetic is wearing off nicely - only a few more days and I will be as right as rain, still contemplating booking an appointment at the hairdressers for a hairwash though as I have been told I have to wait 4 weeks before I can wash my hair:eek: already its driving me mad, if only my mate Sal hadn't moved to Wisbech because I know that she would come and wash my hair for me and travelling from Wisbech is a bit far to come just for a hairwash:eek:0 -
Oh Horace - I do feel for you with the hairwashing bit. If you did get your hair washed I am sure you would feel a million dollars!
How strange about your glasses! Although that happens to me all the time. I think when you are in a panic you just don't see what's in front of you.
Take care XXDebt free and Keeping on Track0 -

Hi Mrs P,
You and me both chuck - I went to SW a day early yesterday as I am busy this evening and could not attend my usual group. I was weighed and have lsot nothing in the last week so I had to suffer the indignity of a "Maintain"!!! I was gutted! So I have gone back to basics and re-read the literature from cover to cover. I am also switching to Red and Green days from Extra Easy as I think that EE was allowing me too much freedom to stray. So come on Mrs P - let's start again together - no more bingeing on naughty stuff - I might have to come down to Cornwall and slap your legs!!!!
H:
I am travelling down to Worcester on Friday evening to visit my friends - it will be a little difficult as Worcester was where I was when OH decided to leave. I am hoping to put a couple of demons to bed this weekend.
Anyway, if you really need your hair washing, I don't mind diverting to yours and doing it for you on my way down if you're at the stage where it's really skanky!! Just let me know - you have my number!

Putting demons to bed is a bit extreme and no way to discuss potential bedmates:rotfl: careful, you could be called a deviant:eek: If you're in Worcester on Saturday take yourself to the Guildhall for a spot of lunch - I havent been to Worcester for ages and one of these days I may just hop on the bus (it will be an adventure) as normally I go to Perdiswell and hop on the park and ride bus. Go and have a look in Pratleys too - be careful of where you place your feet and watch your elbows, this shop sells Royal Worcester Porcelain which is either stacked on the floor or on trestle tables and is the place to go for seconds (alas Royal Worcester Porcelain is no more).
Thanks for the offer on the hair Strumps - but it is too skanky even for you and I would be too embarassed as my flat is a tip too:o I have a cunning plan anyway, I am feeling loads better today so I will have a bath and lie in it or I may even stand in the shower and be extremely careful - in fact I will go and put the immersion heater on and think about some eye drops (I am getting bored with them already). However, you are welcome to come round for a coffee or even a cup of tea made with teabags but made in a proper teapot:D0 -
Woo hoo - I have managed to wash my hair - I did it carefully over the side of the bath:j0

Well done - that'll cheer you up no end. There's nothing worse than feeling like you need to get clean.

I will ring you later Strumps as you are welcome to poke your head around the door - you will have to take me as you find me though as I am an untidy devil:D
Have you taught Andrew how to use a vacuum cleaner yet?
Don't think of Worcester as laying demons to rest - your ex OH did you a favour, you were far too good for him anyway.0 -
