Well the gorgeous Strumps has been and gone - he had tea and tart (not me I hasten to add:rotfl:) He has gone away laden with goodies. Plus he showed off his swanky car where the roof tucks away in the boot so that he can drive along with the wind in his hair and flies in his teeth:rotfl:

Plus he has found some belfrys that he hasnt been in yet - namely St Nicolas in Kings Norton, Northfield and St Johns in Bromsgrove:cool: So I have agreed when I am better to visit the parish office in Kings Norton to offer them my services plus it will be good exercise for me - I only hope that I can remember how to ring because I last did it when I was 15 or 16:D

Strumps - you are not fat - I have seen more fat on a chip.

Well I'm really glad that the meet went well. I'm jealous of Strumpet's car and of his figure - I've certainly got more fat on me than a chip - talking of which I had fish and chips for tea tonight.

Strumpet the diet didn't go too badly today (except for the fish and chips tonight). Tomorrow I am having wheetabix and skimmed milk, salad for lunch and mackerel and new potatoes for dinner so hopefully that will get me back on track.

I also have more fat on me than a chip:rolleyes: My mince hadnt thawed out and I dont like defrosting meat in the microwave - so I went to the chip shop for tea - I had a cone portion of chips (I can manage to eat that as its really small) and for a treat (I havent had any for months and months) a portion of kebab meat with mint sauce. I thought a portion meant enough for one person not two:eek: I have had to save some and will nuke it in the microwave for lunch tomorrow.

Did you have a cone portion of chips and a mini fish MrsP?

Unfortunately not:D I had a normal sized fish and chips (at least it wasn't arge):rotfl:

I was fairly good diet wise yesterday. Not so good MSE-wise as I bought some plants for the garden. The weather was lovely yesterday and I was able to do some gardening. Today its quite dull and drizzly rain.

I know its a huge change in the weather today - yesterday I had washing drying on the line and today its indoors drying by the television as its been such a damp and dismal day:rolleyes:

Well I have had a super weekend although it didn't start as I had planned. I was hoping to get to Horace's pad at 18:00 but given that some stupid twerps had crashed their cars on top of the Thelwall Viaduct, the journey to Brum took 3½ hours instead of 2. However, when I arrived, Horace had bought me a lovely strawberry tart and made me a nice cup of tea so I was well cared for! It was really nice to meet you H!!! And thanks for all the wonderful gifts you gave me - I have already put 3 of them to good use!!! Can you guess which 3?

H and I had a jolly good chat about this and that and then it was time to leave - I offered her a lift to the bank but she declined as she didn't want flies in her teeth. That only happens if you don't stop talking Horace!!! LOL:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I carried on to Worcester and got to All Saints church at 9pm and so I was still in time for ringing! I'm glad you're going to take ringing up again H - it will do you good, I'm sure.

Well Mrs P, glad to see you're doing a little better with the eating plan - I must admit to slipping a little this weekend - it's really difficult when you're in someone elses house and they are cooking for you. It's very easy to make a right pain of yourself. Anyway, Robin and Mark may even decide to take up SW themselves, seeing as they've seen how slimmer I am since they last saw me!

I know you might not think I'm fat Horace, but I could do with losing my spare tyre and getting back to the fit bunny I was before I got ill!

So, after the excesses of the weekend (although I forewent ALL opportunities to have cake and biscuits even when we were in coffee shops etc - and I actually found that I wasn't that bothered about it!!), I must make an effort to get back on track. Weigh in is Thursday this week - it's been moved because the clubhouse is in use! So I have an extra 2 days to lose a bit more.

MSE wise, I was not good also - the next sale was too much of a draw and I bought a sexy black jumper for £20. I am buying clothes instead of eating cakes!!! I also bought some fabulous shampoo form Lush. Mark and I usually camp it up in there and end up with loads of freebies. Not this time - the girl behind the counter was so dumb, it would have been a waste of time and effort to even try!

I got home last evening at 00:15 and went straight to bed. Was tired this morning but had a great time. Just got to decide what to have for lunch now. I think I'll go to ASDA and buy a ready cooked chicken as I'm on a red day today!!!

I think I may need to go and buy a new freezer finally - mine seems to be single-handedly trying to replace the ice caps that the scientists claim are melting!

Glad you got to Worcester in time for the ringing - the lift was declined because you would have had to have driven back on yourself and the walk did me good, the cashpoint is next to the gym:cool: (it used to be a cinema where my lovely parents took me to see that horror film Bambi - I was traumatised for weeks:eek:).

I think that you have used the aftershave sample, the insulated coffee mug and the herb keeper or maybe even the stress ball:D Or even that lovely phytomer stuff - men love it. Hope you managed to get to The Pear Tree at Smite too - its a fab place.

Next time it will be a stawberry tart from druckers as they are less collapsible than the Selfridges ones - they make better pastry:D

Glad you got home safe and sound and that you enjoyed your little break in Worcster. It was great meeting you - I feel as though I have acquired a brother and sister all rolled into one:rotfl:

Glad you had a good weekend Strumpet. You will have to come around and slap my legs! I weighed this morning and have stayed the same. I didn't really follow the diet at all last week so I've only myself to blame. Hopefully I'm back on track today.

Horace - thankfully we don't have Druckers around my neck of the woods.:D

If strumps has a pot belly then I am morbidly obese because I seem to have more than one belly:eek: I have heard that tummy crunches and pilates help - not that I do either which is probably why my pot belly has grown another one:eek:
