    Hello there you lot!

Sorry for not being around much lately but I have been mega busy.
Niow all has cooled off, I can start to catch up with everything that's been sidelined for the last week.

Did my concerts and services this weekend and netted £175 which is brilliant! Knackered with all the rehearsing though and the house is a state. My new lodger is going to have to tidy up after himself - he still thinks he's living with his wife!!!

Anyway, a lot has happened since we last spoke:

I bit the bullet last week and joined Slimming World! I know! Anyway, the group I have joined is quite friendly and I think it is really working as I checked the scales and I lost 4lb in four days! Next weigh in is on Wednesday evening. The scheme is really energising and lets you eat almost anything.

Mrs P: I'm going to private you so watch out for a message.....

Ooops - the boss is lurking - will have to sign off for a bit.....

    Hi Strumps,

Firstly thanks so much for your kind PM. I have emailed you.

Secondly, well done for signing up to SW. I did join them last year and did really well, but the usual story, once I stopped going that was it. the one thing I liked about their diet is that you can pile up your plate with loads-a-food - as long as its the right kind for the day you are on.

    Hi all

Good news on the money front Strumps and I am pleased that the singing went well.

You need to give Andrew some lessons - he probably doesnt know how to work a hoover or even a washing machine:eek: Remember wifey did it all whilst he sat on the sofa watching tv and just lifing his feet off the floor when she did the hoovering:rotfl:

I have started comfort eating again and not eating proper food - funny the more my mother nags then the more I eat:mad: She still sees me as an 18 year old who weighed 6stone:eek: Now I wasnt anorexic - I was incredibly sporty and could eat all sorts of food without getting fat:rolleyes: Now I only need to see a biscuit and I put on a stone:rolleyes: Maybe I should join a class where I can eat properly - trouble is they usually go on about fish and I absolutely loathe fish, my throat swells as soon as I get within sniffing distance of the stuff:eek: I must do something because I hate being fat:o

Am half way through tidying up my office, the bed is stripped and the bedding is on the line so will need to remake with fresh linen, I have found things on my office floor that I had forgotten I had got but at least I will have some nice shelves and have some cheapo magazine holders so that I can put my wedding and trade mags away. Cheapo shelves too - galvanised ones from Focus for £19.99 (their own payless brand), well I wasnt going to pay £50 for a set that looked the same.

Didnt bother claiming for a few bits of chicken off my insurance. Need to do a shop tomorrow though as the cupboard is still a bit bare. I am slowly getting ready for Thursday too, now the thought of it is making me feel a little queasy. Normally I take a cd player but I am travelling light this time so if it fits in my case all well and good, if not then it has to stay at home. A CD player helps to drown out all the groaning (there are some who think that groaning is an olympic sport:eek:).

Well I had better crack on with the tidying up - I still have the bathroom to clean as well.

    xx

My suitcase is packed already, I know what I am going to wear when I go there too. Ex OH from London is picking me up and staying to keep an eye on me for a few days basically because I've told nobody:rolleyes: Now I am trying to charge batteries for my portable CD player so that I can listen to music (which reminds me must go and do that). Your number is in my phone Strumps just in case xx

Thanks for all your kind wishes for tomorrow:D

Yesterday I went to Coventry (ex OH came up to collect my spare key and do an inspection in Coventry) he bought me an icecream but I made sure I had a small 99, then it was some underwear which has to be taken back because I couldnt get the thing over my head or pull it up above my knees:eek: and last of the big spenders he took me to dinner at a carvery where they sell them for £3.50. Mind you, he gave me £20.11 this morning as pocket money:rotfl: Anyway he will be picking me up on Friday - I notice that he has left a pile of washing drying in my bathroom:rolleyes: I got him working yesterday too - I came back from the butcher and found him putting together a set of galvanised shelves for my office and now I am thinking that I need to move my desk to a position in front of the window and then I will be able to fit in another set:cool:

You know I have been procrastinating for months about my assignment for my course - well you will be pleased to know that I have at long last sent off my final one today and I should be expecting my diploma soon. I am also hoping for some free publicity and will have the press release sent to the chamber of commerce as they like unusual businesses:cool:
