    Hi Strumps

Am glad that A has moved in and is paying a decent rent to include food.

An NSD is a No Spend Day - I have forgotten what one of those is:eek: I have just looked at my credit cards and owe £3500 on my Amex (well I will next month:eek:), £1300 on my Visa card and £700 on my Virgin card which I dont spend on, have just applied for a nationwide card to do a balance transfer but their credit limit is really low so I won't be able to shift much across. A lot of the spends are business ones which are being noted down for such time as my SA needs to be submitted (have done a nil return for this past year on the advice of my accountant). I am fed up of being skint - not helped by the silly watch purchase but I am not going to take it back:D

I don't there is much that folks can do for me Strumps - I have been badly let down by Leo (the story of my life) as I had asked him to take me to and from the hospital but he announced on Sunday that he had a meeting booked and asked if I could wait:mad: I thought about giving him another chance but once again he has failed dismally. Last night, I told him that he was a Yes man, he would say yes to the last beer in the pub (he gets nasty when he has had a beer as he mixes drinks and cannot hold his drink:mad:), says yes when I ask him to do something for me and he always reneges and I feel sure that if you asked him to jump off a cliff he would say yes:rolleyes:

One of my female friends has offered to take me and pick me up - although I can get there on the bus no problem, its the getting out that will be dodgy as I know what I am like after a general anaesthetic:rolleyes: I shall be fending for myself although I don't much like the idea of being on my todd after the op but needs must. Mind you it will be good for my diet - I won't eat much:eek:

I know what you mean about the bad dreams, I get them too especially after R's email the other day, it is very difficult for us to meet due to his commitments and I think he is scared - he is my soulmate always was always will be and now I am wishing that I never met him in the first place:rolleyes: Sometimes I can be a very stupid old bean:mad:

    Hi Strumps,

    Just wanted to say hello.

Sorry to hear about the bad dreams,

But good news on the lodger front. I have a three bedroom house, and live on my own. Maybe I should look to get a lodger. It would help get those debts down.

    Take care

Renting a room would help you for sure - read Badger Lady's thread on the Houses & Renting board. Perhaps you could have a thread to keep us entertained like she does:rotfl:

I have some news on the op front - my bestest mate is taking me to the hospital (she may be picking me up too) and Leo (ratfink) is feeling really guilty and will be arriving either on the Thursday night or the Friday to look after me and poison me with his cooking - I shall have to teach him how to make spag bol without opening a jar:rolleyes:

Now I havent spent anything yet today but am fancying some beefburgers and I havent got any...or I might just go to the chippie:rolleyes:

I might be up for chippy this lunch time too.

Got to pop to the bank to extend my overdraft facility - in time period only, not limit. Now A has moved in, I will be paying the OD off much more quickly but will not be able to get rid of it altogether by 11th July, when the current facility comes to an end.

Paid £2196.51 off my credit card today as the reimbursement came through from work for the MP Diol Glycol I had to buy on its behalf!!!

Paid it off the CC before I could spend it on taking us all to the Maldives for a fortnight!!!

    Hard luck chaps!!!

    LOL

I managed an NSD yesterday:j I didnt go out, I didnt spend money, didnt get some chippie chips as I had a cheese sandwich instead using the lower brand cheese (not value) from Mr T and a loaf that I picked up in the corner shop because it was reduced:D

I signed you up for another 8 NSDs for next month (or at least registered an interest).

I had thought of going out at lunchtime but don't fancy sitting in a pub garden on my own as I think its a little strange and certainly bad manners for a woman to venture into a pub on her own:rolleyes: Sorry if this makes you laugh but it was the way I was brought up:rotfl:

Am sitting here wondering if my fake tan will ever set - it still feels a bit tacky. I used some Clarins self tanning cream on my legs as they are looking a bit pale (the rest of me is fine as it is been out in the sun).

Well done on the credit card payment though Strumps - I wish I could pay mine off...sorry I shall miss a trip to the Maldives but there is always next week:rotfl:

Best think about lunch - I can feel a crisp buttie coming on:cool:
