    Morning all,

Not a bad weekend MSE-wise (although could have been better and I didn't manage any NSDs). Good weekend diet wise - lost 1 lb so managed to regain control in time for my Sunday weigh in. Even though Sunday was my 7th day I didn't go mad! - Strumpet you were right.

    Morning all

Well done on losing some poundage MrsP - I need to get myself into shape as my tummy is looking rather rotund lately:eek::mad: I spent most of saturday washing cars at a charity car wash, the firemen were fab and fed us and them on tea, cake (I didnt have any cake) bacon n egg butties (I didnt have one of these either) and chip butties (I had one of these) and a can of red bull that red bull kindly gave us. The best car we washed all day was a lovely red ferarri:j

Yesterday I didnt do much..just fretted about my washing machine which had a funny turn on Saturday night..must ring the repair man (need to clear out pantry before he comes otherwise he will bang his head as machine is wedged in there.

Having a busy day today - making appointments and generally wheeling and dealing:rotfl:

Hope all is well with everybody - had to do a little spending over the weekend and yesterday I shopped from the whoopsie shelf again:cool:

    Hi Ang,

I'm doing OK thanks for asking. It was a bit of a shock but now I have seen that there is life beyond and I am fully intending to get on and enjoy it.

I am off to the supermarket this evening with only £10 in my wallet as I have paid a huge chunk off my credit card - if worst comes to worst, I can put the spend back on the card but will avoid some interest.
I also sepnt £85 in Boundary Mill yesterday - OOPS!!! I bought a pair of shorts because I have no shorts (£24.99), and a pair of the coolest and gayest French Connection jeans (£42 down from £60). I bought these to make myself feel special and raise my self-confidence and self-esteem. I wore them out last night and really felt good about myself. Also bought some candles and utensils for the kitchen to replace some old tired ones.

Spent far too much on Friday night - me and a couple of mates went out on the lash. I really enjoyed it though and did not go to bed until 5am. It did me the world of good though.

Banked £67.50 from my "other job" and also accepted a booking to sing for a service at a church in Wales on 12th July for which I will get £100 so the £85 can come out of that!

Looking forward to spending my £10 this evening - I think I can get away with that - the freezer has enough food in it to keep me going for the week.

    10 days to pay day.

Got severely bitten by midges at the weekend and had to go to the hospital and give blood samples this morning so between the midges and the hospital, I have hardly any blood left!!! The bites itch like crazy - part of my £10 may have to go on Witch Hazel!!!

Got all my bedding washed and dried yesterday and back on the bed so slept like a log last night - always do in nice clean freshly laundered bedding which has dried on the line.

Life is good, albeit on a shoestring at the moment!

I hates midges - get yourself some Avon skinsosoft cream (its dirt cheap) but apparently midges hate it. Midges love me because I have sweet blood so I know where you are coming from, they also don't like the taste of Vitamin B but as I refuse to eat marmite I cannot confirm whether or not it works.

You haven't been out on the lash for a long time so its great to see you gadding about til 5am:D I wouldnt have the energy myself as I would be snoring in the corner by 1am:eek: Your new jeans sound fab.. I got some shorts in Next the other day, dunno why I bothered really as they weren't what I was looking for but they'll do:rolleyes:

£10 - shop from the whoopsie shelf and then get milk, bread and maybe some eggs. Get yourself some antihistamines whilst you are at it as that will help with the itching and the witch hazel will soothe you too, bet you come home with change:D

Onwards and upwards Strumps me old chap:D

I didn't come home with change - I spent £27.02 which was well outside the £10 but just outside the £25 target for the week. I was flummoxed by the need to buy bog roll and there were some bargains on the whoops shelf - 19p for bread (was 72p), 74p for two kippers (were 1.15), braising steak for £1.87, which is cooking as we speak and will do for at least 3 meals!

Need to raid piggy bank tonight so I can have a coke in the pub.

Also spent £1898.52 on my credit card yesterday.....

......but it was an expense for work so I get it back on Thursday!

52 packets of crisps seems escessive Dragon:eek:

Strumps at least you have food now and probably enough loo roll to sink a battleship (I am the same bought 16 for the price of 12 in Mr T's the other week).

Tne washing machine repair man came out today to see my demonised machine - he heard the noise but couldnt hear or find out where it was coming from so he gave me a solution "keep using it until it gets worse and then call me or keep using it and it will fix itself" he charged me £24 which wasnt too bad as he was here for a good long while:D

Tomorrow is hospital time and I need to be there at 9am - I wouldnt mind but I have to get two buses which means that realistically I need to be gone from here at 7.30am as I would need to be there 15 mins before my appointment so that I can be seen by the nurse:rolleyes:
