I wish I never posted any details about the Post Office life assurance cashback offer.
A few people who search out these deals themselves already knew about this offer and have completed it several times to get the £100 cashback.

Unfortuantly when this is then released to the masses, cashback amounts will get questioned and therefore might not pay out.

The problem with this M&S offer is that it totally relied on a cashback site to pay out. The post office offer was a mixture between them both therefore spreading the risk.

I had my application submitted in June and is still extended. I am pretty hopefully they will pay out.

I only applied for this offer for the Life Insurance to get the cashback and after reading all of these postings I have been worried that I won't get my money.

I have done some research into cashback offers and I have found out that in a lot of cases the company involved just pay an agreed amount for each account to a cashback site and they have no control or knowledge into how the offer is advertised even though they have to deal with the application - must have been very funny when they suddenly realised they had a lot more applications than normal though

What I don't know is how the cashback site will know whether the application was completed by telephone or not - I also had to restart my application to continue with the account - waiting to see what happens with the cashback

I'm here, sorry for the lack of response to this thread.
I've had a quick look into this...we have had more transactions verified than rejected, which is a positive

You need to have made more than 4 direct debits in order for the transaction to be verified. Those that are extended might be because you took out the policy before the award date was extended to 4 months or it could be because we haven't received payment for your transaction.

We have been pushing the network and the merchant on this issue for several weeks now and they've been able to pay out on a number of these extended transactions so far. We are still waiting for them to pay out on other transactions but they are paying out... just slower than they should!

I know there are more unanswered questions above, if you can summarise anything i've missed out then i'll be more than happy to answer them.

Anyone still waiting for there gift voucher, i just rang and they said after 5 payments, anyone have a screengrab of it saying 1 payment ?

still waiting for the vouchers - I am going to send them a stroppy email later. They even sent me a leaflet with the confirmation advertising the life insurance - showing vouchers to be paid out within a month :rolleyes:

Vouchers arrived today after i emailed them a couple of days ago, think im going to cancel the policy , having read several forums not 1 person has been paid the cashback !

Have you paid 3 months DD already, though? I have paid just two so far.
