I think CBK were mis-leading us whether on purpose or by honest error but either way many of us took inurance out under false pretenses

I have just been rejected for the £100 cashback. Am fuming now. Feel really really duped by CBK and Marks and Spencers. There is no way I broke any T&Cs of this offer (I made sure as so much money was at stake !!).
I know there is nothing much I can do about this, but this looks really bad for CBK. I'm sure a lot of people will make sure they 'badmouth' CBK at every given opportunity (e.g. me !).
My theory is that to save losing so much money (due to so many applying) they have decided to let a certain percentage of people be paid the £100, and a certain percentage be rejected, regardless of whether they stuck to T&Cs or not. Damage limitation - it doesn't look as bad as rejecting everyone......
    Or maybe not.

Remembering you from the PO Life Insurance thread , im sad.gif yours got rejected which is unacceptable. PO paid out to all the tracked transactions.

Dont give up.......u must get what you are entitled to.

M+S insurance is not M+S the shop retailer . M+S insurance is owned by HSBC and the name is used by HSBC as a trading name. HSBC is not a tin pot operation it has its own responsibilities.

When numerous HSBC E-Savers didnt track and Quidco got no apparent results, people went direct to HSBC and got paid their Cashback direct from HSBC. CBK do state that its against their terms and conditions for people to contact the merchants direct. CB sites state that the merchants wont have heard of the CB site, well when I cancelled my Next Catalogue subscription and told Next precisely why I was cancelling, Next soon made sure that they found out all about its marketing connections with CB sites and the rejection was reversed. ( CB site involved was not CBK)

People have posted on CBK forum stating that when they have gone direct to both Legal and General + M+S regarding cashback they have been informed that it has been paid so would have been better if these people had been one step ahead and asked in advance for proof that their payments had been paid to the affiliate. Six Months is long enough for all payments to be made and allocated, lets not forget that the original terms was after 3 payments had been made which then got changed to 4 payments and then to 6 payments. Post Office managed to pay everybody on time re its life insurance offer.

CBK heavily plugged the offer and gained a large number of new members through the offer. CBK subsequently promised that people would be paid after 6 payments have been made. There has been no verification that 6 payments have been made because as has been posted on CBK forum some people got paid out after less than 6 payments had been made.

Reading CBK forum today, someone has posted stating that he/she is taking CBK to the county court regarding the matter.

Had mine been further delayed or rejected I would have not mentioned Cashback Kings so not to fall foul of CBK terms and conditions, I would have cancelled the direct debit, informed HSBC of why I was cancelling the direct debit and informed HSBC that I saw the Cashback offer mentioned on Hotdealsuk or MSE and provided appropriate link without mentioning CBK, asked HSBC to treat my grievance as a complaint and stated to them dont tell me its been paid to the affiliate without providing me with proof.

Its because CB sites state that the relationship is between the consumer and the CB site that some people have threatened legal action against more than one CB site from what ive read on forums.
  • hi , I finally got my cashback , i applied in august, so a big thankyou to whoever listed the offer.

Still waiting here - transaction date 15th August. Rapidly losing patience...and appalled at the silence by cashbackkings.

None here... Is there a way I can put in a query or something? I am not familiar with CBK.

Can I just ask a little question ? How long have you got to submit a query/ticket after you are rejected ?
