You could have used 1899 and reduced the cost of your calls made during the day.

Have a look at this https://www.yourcalls.net/Features/Products.aspx
My mum was on this one and their service was excellent.

It may have excellent service, but it can't be cheaper.

The line rental is more expensive than post office, and they charge for evening calls which are free with post office.

I have read through all the posts but am confused.
I have been thinking of changing over to the Post Office for my line rental and broadband, which would save me £6 pm. I am currently with Nildram for broadband £15.99 month, plus 500 free calls a month, but since they have been taken over by Tiscalli, they are not as good as they were.
What does anyone else think, should I??
    ps what does CPS mean

    Carrier Pre Select

If you use another carrier for your calls than BT, you can have CPS so that without you entering any special code or having a smartbox all your calls are routed via your chosen carrier.

If you go with the post office, you get an unlimited number of free calls in the evenings and all weekend.
