Yeah start > search was in the hope that you actually had moved them onto your system, it will not list deleted files

Yes trade I looked at it but I'm sure you know where I'm coming from by now :rotfl:
When you launch the program it asks you to select a language which is self explanitory, then there is a screen that tells you what it does, just hit the red X and get rid of that
On the main screen, there are a series of Icons down the side, first click the top one if you hover you mouse over it says "Open Drive"Hope for the best.....Plan for the worst!

Yes, I'm on the laptop now, although the desktop is on, but I don't have those missing files / folders on here.
OH you have a laptop, sorry I missed this post, try downloading Loaners program to that one, it doesn't install anything so it doesn't make a mess. Unzip the loader
Plug your usb into it and try scanning it on thereHope for the best.....Plan for the worst!

I don't actually hold outmuch hope for getting them off the usb as truecrypts format could have overwritten them and your just seeing an old directory listingHope for the best.....Plan for the worst!

OK trade, so here's where I'm at

Ok was afraid of that, when files are deleted with windows delete command it simply removes the instructions for windows to find the file, in essence the file itself remains on the drive but windows sees it as empty space, it will stay there until overwritten which creating the encrypted container would have doneHope for the best.....Plan for the worst!
