Now, how is it that I have persuaded Mittens to give kisses, say please, beg, and go to his bed at bedtime, but not to use a catflap?!
Beth, PM for you x0 -
Well done Leo, lol!!!
My little brother has just given me a disc with Microsoft Money on - it's very confusing.....
I don't get it at all... I've figured out how to import my bank statement, but then it seems to end up with millions of duplicate transactions & the wrong balance in the total column. I need to find an "idiots guide" on how to use it I think..... Live your life until love is found, or love's gonna get you down" (credit to Mika!)

Evening everybody...just did a fast run ( well..fast for me!) to garden for some rhubarb, managing to get 2 of my 5 a day by having rhubarb and apple from the garden at present...reckon its the first time the torrent has eased all day.
Pixie...forgot to congratulate you on your wonderful win.
Facebook....why didn't somebody tell me you were meant to understand it?? Have so many friends now hope that you all join the MSE group or I will never know who is who.
Did some shopping to-day, then went with OH and DGS1 for very nice lunch in local pub which has had a facelift...I will go back when money saving allows.
Looking forward to having whole brood around for weekend, DS3 will be 30 on Friday ( same as you Donnygal, have a great day in case I forget) we are just having a get together for some of his many friends in a local hostelry...he thinks that he is just going for a drink with DD2 and her partner...
KAAT...hope that you and cat are ok.
Betheebee...give yourself a chance to heal and stop decorating the world...walls will still be there to paint next week!

Good afternoon! :hello:
Only time for a quick post today as we're busy getting ready for tomorrow - we'll have to leave home at about 6.30 to allow for delays, traffic and time to have breakfast at the Shuttle terminal and looking in Dixons or whatever it's called now to see if they have a PSP game DGS particularly wants!
DH collected the hire car yesterday - he'd asked for a 7-seater and was told it would be a VW Sharan, Ford Galaxy or Renault Grand Espace. It turned out to be a Chrysler Grand Voyager and it's huge :rotfl: Still, plenty of room for all of us, the luggage and the dog! And DVD screens in front of the middle and back seats, which will please 14yo DGS.
We'll be away for little DGS's 2nd birthday, so we went to see him today and gave him his presents - a "Bob the Builder" telephone from us (DD's suggestion) and a Bob the Builder "Friction drive Travis" (tractor) from his uncle. He was thrilled to bits
CM and anyone else who's about to go away - Have a lovely time!
Penny_Pincher - i gather it was your anniversary either today or yesterday, so hope you had a happy day. (((HUGS)))
((((HUGS)))) to everyone in need.
Pink-Winged - I've already put my pink rain jacket in the car, but might take another one in case of emergency. Not only have I twice left one at home, but the first time we took the family to Normandy 4 years ago I left one round the back of my chair at the motorway Services where we stopped for lunch - thankfully we were on our way home that time

candygirl - that wasn't a packing list I posted yesterday but a list of the completely random collection of things on our so-called dining table
, though I can understand why you thought it was a packing list
You must have thought we were taking some very odd things away with us! Though we are taking DH's Low GI snacks!
I expect catowen will be in London by now. Anyone who's meeting up with her, please give her a (((HUG))) from me
Congrats to anyone with a birthday today, or while I'm away
Off to catch up on y'day's thread and try to read some of today's! See you when we get back - we're away for 10 days.
Right, MUST go now and do a bit of catching up!
See you soon
