Have you had your accumulator jobs declined yet?
One of my bookies jobs was because I'd put an accumulator on - just a word of warning for anyone else who does these jobs for Gap.
Fingers crossed all mine seem to have gone through. I did a batch a few weeks ago and no-one has called or e-mailed and I've just checked my assignments and they are still showing as approved. Will keep an eye on my payments next month to see if they go through.
I have now re-read all the documents and it does actually say to use a blank betting form. The reason they show the accumulator pictures on the brief is to see whether staff members refer you to them. This, however, is not clear on the brief, it was only by reading the client "handbook" that I found out.
What's the bet I get an e-mail now tomorrow.0 -
Staff were rather unhelpful though - manager refused to come and told them just to deal with it, so they called the deputy who was checking in a delivery and I had to wait a good 10 mins, he then said he didn't have a clue and would get someone who could help - another 10 mins. I just felt I was being a real nuisance and they couldn't be bothered with me. Took me blooming ages to do it. On the plus side hubby had nearly finished the shop, by the time I caught up with him!0

A tip for these jobs is always try to do them before 1pm, one of the stores I did said most stock controllers (who you see to check stock levels and bookstock errors) finish at this time. Obviously there are other members are staff that can do this, but they are usually managers and won't see you/refuse to help
I agree that times play a part - I avoid lunchtimes like the plague as there is never anyone with any authority about.0 -
I finished my supermarket audit a little while ago and it went OK I guess except for the fact that I caught the manager on her lunch break
And the security guard took me to the staff canteen whilst she was eating!!!
She was trying to get rid of me by saying write this and that down and I'll get the night team to sort it but I stated that it had to be done whilst I was there.
All in all, i was there for over an hour!!...most of this time was spent waiting for her when she said she would be out in 10 minutes. 10 minutes came and went, I was still waiting then saw her doing something else! I don't think she had much intention to return back to me. We went together to print some SELs and she just left me to sort it out. She wasn't very helpful at all.
Do I say all this in my report? It is my local supermarket so I don't really want to get on the wrong side of people if I'm going to see them frequently.0 -
Just on the subject of supermarket audits, I've also found you can be waiting around a long time and when you factor in travel time they don't seem to pay very well, or is it just me? Maybe some of you combine them with other jobs in the same area but I've never found that possible due to late notice mainly.Gala bingo wins £70!!! mystery shopping earnings: £0

Where do you live now Sinders? My town (Herne Bay) is very quiet for MS but I mainly get mine in Canterbury which is still quite quiet which is why I don't get much!!
I rarely go to Bluewtaer/Lakeside and would only do them if I were going shopping there (usually once a year at Xmas!)Sealed pot Member target £200 - No. 151
