After you have read the assignment details a box will come up , you need to press COntinue. After this answer the questions and if you have been selected then a calender will come up where you can select the dates.
If you have a yellow box displayed it does sound like you have already gone through the process?

Could anyone recommend any focus groups pls? I fancy giving that a go :)

The one I did yesterday I found via my local Gumtree as they post local ones on there and this company was particular to Bristol. I subscribe to Gumtree jobs via Google Reader so don't miss out if anything interesting comes up.

Saros Research are a good one and arrange focus groups all over the country. You can sign up with them to get their emails. A lot are in London but they do vary.

Re the Mac and Numbers/Excel issue they 'should' be compatible as long as you save the document in the right format, but TBH I found there can be differences is formatting so I've been using Office for Mac 2004 for a few years now. Well worth it and you can get the Student Edition very reasonably. Numbers is Apple's own spreadsheet software and not the same as Excel BTW.

I have a lovely pizza competitor meal on Sat :) Two computer shop jobs Sun in the same place ;) a soft furnishings job next week that I was so pleased to get and a nice meal next Sunday. Plus some phone jobs and postal audits and online shopping jobs. Should keep me out of trouble :D

I'm on stage 3, i.e. I've been accepted and need to select the date.
I didn't select anything, the yellow box was there when I first got onto the page. The date says it needs to be completed between 24/08 and 24/08, but I can only visit on a Thrus or Fri...
Very confused and not sure whether to go tonight or not! It won't let me move on to stage 4 (view questionnaire)...

From what you are saying then the only day that is valid for a visit should be SUNDAY 24th August

If you are saying that the job specifies a Thursday or Friday only then the RE web-site is c*cked up-happens sometimes.
If the latter then ring RE.

Have you looked at the calendar key? It shows what the colours mean etc.

    Please confirm

Thanks, glad it's not just me.
It does indeed say 'visit between 24/08 and 24/08', and 'Visit only available Thursday or Friday'.
The calendar key says no day is available, today is Thrusday, and one Saturday (with a 2 in it, guess this is the 2nd) is not allowed by the client...
I've emailed them asking for help but think I might have to ring them, as I wanted to go tonight!
    Gfk is so much easier!

Ring them and they will probably put the job in your calendar whilst you are on the 'phone.

Can anyone help me please? I'm trying to accept a pizza job on Gap for either this weekend or next weekend (which are among the dates listed as available), but it keeps coming up as 'rejected/cancelled'. I know it's not because i've recently shopped this particular pizza place because i've never shopped this one - just their competitor - and there's no training thingy for them that i've missed either.. TIA
  • I had this the first time I ever tried to accept a pizza job and I emailed them and they called me within the hour  Unheard of I know but they didn't know what the problem was either so they just fixed it for me there and then!

Thanks, hopefully i'll get a call from them soon....Um, yeah right!

I do pizza assignments for them quite often, but just not this competitor cos someone else always seems to beat me to it! (OK, so which one of you is it?? :rotfl: ).
