The Mystery Shopping thread - part 5

I finished my supermarket audit a little while ago and it went OK I guess except for the fact that I caught the manager on her lunch break
And the security guard took me to the staff canteen whilst she was eating!!!
She was trying to get rid of me by saying write this and that down and I'll get the night team to sort it but I stated that it had to be done whilst I was there.
All in all, i was there for over an hour!!...most of this time was spent waiting for her when she said she would be out in 10 minutes. 10 minutes came and went, I was still waiting then saw her doing something else! I don't think she had much intention to return back to me. We went together to print some SELs and she just left me to sort it out. She wasn't very helpful at all.
Do I say all this in my report? It is my local supermarket so I don't really want to get on the wrong side of people if I'm going to see them frequently.
TBH I wouldn't bother - I don't think the firm we're doing the checks for will be bothered about what the service etc., is like in the store, they just want their products in the right location.
In response to someone else's previous query, we were asked to move the stock if it was in the wrong place, so knew that was already part of the brief. I don't think this firm do mystery shopping, from what I've been offered from them it's all audit / merchandising work.
The pay is reasonable, but can be more time consuming than you think, mainly in terms of waiting for staff. I can't really fit in a visit before work, and I work full time, so has to be evenings for me.0 -

I rarely go to Bluewtaer/Lakeside and would only do them if I were going shopping there (usually once a year at Xmas!)
Ramsgate boy here - hopefully we don't take too many of each others jobs!!!

She is paid to do a job, and you are there to help her, if she wasnt helpful, then report it. She will get the kicking from HO and quite rightly. Manners cost nothing.
If you dont, it may be the same next time, and a 10 min job takes 1 hour.0 -
No jobs here til 31st  Then I have a few for sept but not many at all
Oops just forgot about my pub meal for next week, but nothing else
Woohoopostingid, I like Westwood cross, is the only place which I imagine is where we would be fighting over those restaurant jobs as I don't really go into Margate/Ramsgate/Broadstairs as I get scared :rotfl::rotfl:only jokingSealed pot Member target £200 - No. 151

HEEEEEEELLLLPPPPP!!!! _pale_
Got a slight problem with that audit report from yesterday! OK, first up, I am a complete computer numpty so if anyone can help please answer in idiot speak!!
I received the email with the excel report... but I'm on a Mac so I couldn't open it into Excel - so I opened it into Numbers, which seems to be the Mac version of Excel. I completed the report, saved it, then added it as an attachment when I replied to the email.
Now I've just had a call saying I have sent it as a zip file! What the beep's a zip file???
Can anyone talk me through how to fix this, or do I just have to do the whole thing again on a pc?0 -
