Just kidding - I know it's the luck of the draw! :rotfl: I'm in the north east. Where are you?
Oh good I can breath again - I live in South Wales so even I draw the line to coming to the north east to do a job - do they do mileage if I travel that far???0 -

A likely story!!! Come on admit it, you sniped my job, didn't you??? :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
There are some very quick fingers up here - I've lost a few (with other companies) that have been taken while I'm still reading the brief and trying to decide if I'm brave enough to go for it!!! Never mind - I guess it all works out in the end.
Mind you, it is annoying when I miss out on one because the kids were pestering me for something!0 -

I agree - blame the kids. That is always my first line of attack when hubby asks who ate the biscuits!0 -
Woot woot I got a pub meal but not for DH birthday  I have asked RE if I can take my parents and my kids as it does not state how many people you can and can't take, either way I am sure it will do my diet no good :rotfl:Sealed pot Member target £200 - No. 151

Regarding the Supermarket audits...
I know you have to check on entrance and exit...so does that mean that you can do a bit of shopping or something before you check for the last time? Or do you have to do it all together and find somewhere else to go shopping?
I've never done an audit before so just want to clarify a few finer details before I go!
Also...do we have to dress for the occassion or will jeans and trainers do??
No, it's more to do with if there weren't any on the shelf but loads on the gondola end, they'd expect you to put some on the shelf in the range section. Or if they were in the wrong section - so '0' on shelf on entry, you then put some there - so '10' on shelf at exit - i.e. you've done your job.
You're expected to be fairly smart - no jeans or trainers.
They told me I was a bit late, wasn't I and I just said I was asked to do this any time during opening hours - I went at 6.45pm, so I came down when I was going to do my shopping.
(I don't see the point in making a separate trip, unless that's your sole purpose on being there and I wouldn't have done the job, if I hadn't been going anyway, so there's no problem with that.)
Staff were rather unhelpful though - manager refused to come and told them just to deal with it, so they called the deputy who was checking in a delivery and I had to wait a good 10 mins, he then said he didn't have a clue and would get someone who could help - another 10 mins. I just felt I was being a real nuisance and they couldn't be bothered with me. Took me blooming ages to do it. On the plus side hubby had nearly finished the shop, by the time I caught up with him!0 -

so either tractorgirl had them all
or RE don't like me for some reason! Oh well gotta keep checking I guess.
I was hoping to get a nice meal for mid Sept as its DH birthday and we are not used to having to pay for meals
I've only got one from them!! :rotfl:
Are you using the "Available Assignments" search? That one is cr&p!!
You need to do "Search for Assignments" and put in your town. Still loads round here!!!We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

I would put this in the report, I think you are just showing that you have had an impact, so for example showing that you have moved stock around, replenished and actually improved things rather than just reporting that the store looked like a chimp was managing it.0 -
I did my supermarket restaurant MS/audit today. I had to ask to speak to the unit manager to inform her I was doing the audit. She came straight out and was so relieved I wasn't a customer complaining she just smiled, asked if I needed any help and said she was doing the books in the kitchen if I needed her. I've never met anyone so pleased to have an audit lol it went quite well - better than I thought so fingers crossed I did it OK as this was the first time I have done a job like this.0

No, mine just arrived at 20.59 - think it's all been a bit of a rush job.
They've even put something extra about another product that wasn't in the original brief, fortunately it's just something along the lines of look out for this and put a barker out if there isn't one there and the inputting Excel document doesn't have a specific question for it.0
