Damn right - I tell you, being a mystery shopper gives you a whole new perspective on life:)
Taking her to Newport tomorrow to another place so I'll see if they manage to p**s me off and god help them if they do......I've recommended this company to my mum and dad as I've MSed them before so they had better live up to expectations lol0 -

I took my mum to MFI today (not MSing) as she's looking for a new kitchen. I sooo wanted to actually mystery shop them by the time we'd spoken to one of the sales assistants. She said no-one had time to sit down with us to discuss the kitchen as they were short staffed and unless we were serious about buying the kitchen they wouldn't come out and measure as it would be a waste of 2 hours of their time!!!! I couldn't beleive the cheek of the woman.
I know what you mean...there have been so many times when I think to myself..."If only I was MSing right now!!"
I always get followed around because people think I'm gona nick something...Managers "discreetly" tell their staff to keep an eye on me!! It really gets on my nerves...One time I was with my fiance in Disney Store and they blasted his description through the walkie talkies and the staff quickly tried to turn it down. I complained to head office and got a £10 voucher!
I completely understand that they have to do it...but discreet should mean discreet, I do actually take offence.0 -

OMG that is so rude - I would have been mad too. Some people have got a certain perception of what certain people look like. It's like saying "he looks like a serial killer!!!". How the hell are they supposed to look. My god if they all looked the same wouldn't it make life so much easier, you could spot them a mile off - I mean come on, seriously!!!0 -

I know...and the irony is, is that I'm actually in University studying Law!!:p
Another funny thing happened to me the other day, I was working at a Law firm and had to attend Court as the Solicitor's rep...when I walked in, a lady walked up to me and told me to sign in! (she thought I was a defendant)
I admit I do look very young for my age...but it seems to make no difference what I do!!0 -

I work in a law firm as well and I turned up at Court for a repossession hearing once. The Judge asked if I was the defendant and I explained that no, I was working for the Claimant. He then said "Oh, I thought you didn't look someone who was having their house repossessed!!!" I'd love to know exactly what I DO look like lol0 -

OMG...lol...I've noticed that Judges get away with saying what they like. But I suppose they have the age and experience to not care!
By the way...I've been successful with TNS and sent off the form as per their request but haven't heard from them yet. It's only been about a week but I thought that seeing as they sent the form to me rather quickly that they might have been able to process it just as fast...?!?0 -

If I remember rightly it took them about 2 weeks after I sent the form to them to set up my account. If you don't hear back in another week I'd give them a quick call. There usually pretty good.0 -
FYI If anyone is waiting on the late payment from FLF it will be in your bank account lunchtime tomorrow.Clique member no 1.:D0

Here's a strange one. I had a look at the visits on TNS and there is a meal in a restaurant at Glasgow airport. In the details it says please note the restaurant is on the upper level and to note there is a CHAPEL nearby. How strange. Does one need to pray before the meal.
Would have been nice but parking at the airport in Glasgow is £10 per hour!!!!!!Clique member no 1.:D0 -

Took my son and his friends to the science museum today and just before we went we sat in the cafe for a rest . while there my son went and got us all a drink.
he came back from the counter complaining about the women being very rude to him while serving him. he had a right face on him .
when he had finished telling me he turned round and said good job you weren't doing a mystery shop here mum lol.
its rubbing off on my family now . My oh has now refused to go out for a meal with me becuse he says i cant switch off from mystery shopping mode no idea what he means though :rotfl:0
