Yeah no worries, I DID realise after I'd submitted and I just said on the phone that I was expecting a query and had submitted before I realised.

I had a job a couple of weeks ago for RM which I had agreed to do on the Friday but when I got there it was closed (my fault as I got delayed and it was after 5pm). They had originally offered me Saturday so I phoned to see if I could do it the next day but the office was closed. Tried them again Saturday morning but no-one there so left a message and sent an email to say I was going Saturday.
I haven't heard anything from them since but don't have any contacts for them - they've always rung me. Has anyone any suggestions?0 -
Can someone please explain the way the GR allocations system works? I have listed 5 addresses of towns where I can travel to, to do assignments, but so far there have only been 2 in my immediate area and 19 at a town much further away - just added that address in case a particular shop comes up (otherwise it's probably not worth my while going there).
Anyway, this 'distant' town happened to be first in the list of alternative addresses, so I wondered if that might be why I keep seeing loads for this town and hardly any for where I live.
I've just re-arranged my addresses to see if it made a difference, and now one of the jobs which was showing 2 minutes ago has gone, but when I look in assignments taken by someone else, it's not there - but there is one for my local town. This makes me think maybe the order of addresses is important. But then again, if they are going to show me some for this town (one is still showing), then why not show them all?
Does anyone understand what I'm waffling on about? I would email GR and ask them direct, but I'm not sure I could explain it properly.0 -
I kind of understand what you are saying but have no idea of how GR allocate sorry! All my addresses are in the same area anyway so I don't think it will make and difference to me.Sealed pot Member target £200 - No. 151

A quickie from me - does anyone know how Tern pay? Do you have to submit an invoice via post and can you put more than one month's jobs on ti?
TIA

Sinders at the back of the guidelines for a shop there should be an invoice you need a paper copy that you must post to them. They post cheques on the 8th of every month, so if you get your invoice in before in theory you should get a pay out on the 8th (allowing for weekends). You can put more than one job on an invoice, but only if they are from the same shop month. Does that make sense?0
