  • Thanks for all the GR advice. Its much appriciated, especially with being new
  • Thanks! I'll do my best. I just wish I knew what had gone wrong with my nerves. I was actually enjoying this MSing until just a few days ago. Now I feel sick about it and wish I didn't have any jobs lined up at all!

Good luck with your bank enquiry!

    Hi egeorgm,

Have you signed up to TNS? They regularly have a big list of pub visits, supermarkets and DIY stores in Liverpool as well as hotels. I've not been doing so much MSing lately but we still get paid to go drinking once a month :D

No I haven't but thank you for the tip!!
  • Just looked at the Gap site. They've put a whole £1 premium to get people to do pizza jobs that obviously no one wants. WooHoo!

I have just recieved an email from BARE, telling me that a job has just been assigned to me, and needs to be completed today! I am busy all day today, so cant do it, so have had to reply telling them so.
Its a job that I applied for a week or so ago, and kept just saying "pending". To suddenly email me today, to say I am assigned it, and need to complete it today, is it a bit late notice!
I am starting to think (taking into account previous comments read on here) that BARE arent very good!!

  • BARE owe me money from a year ago....not happy with them!!

I really love RE though...and I enjoyed having dinner on them last night and lunch today will also be courtesy of those lovely people.:D
  • Hehe, I answered my own question.

Oooh, sushi for lunch, methinks. And no, it's not the delicious sushi place I'm going to but somewhere I shall also be partaking in a cappuccino.

I rang RE to tell them and they said I couldnt get a refund but they would allow an exchange!?! I have another one of these jobs next week and I dont want the tat - so are other people taking stuff back? if I can then I want to!

I did. PM coming your way.

An occasional failure of nerve is normal in this trade. It's generally due to a loss of perspective. Just remember you're not spying for your country, just testing out some employee to make sure they follow procedure (for what is generally a pittance). Even if they suspect you, they will feel far more nervous than you since they are the one being tested. You have all the power. You don't owe anyone any particular allegiance. You are your own boss. You have the right to release any job that makes you feel uneasy. It's all under your control.
Never mash cheese: it bends the fork.
  • I'm worried they might ask where I work - it's a mortgage query so they might ask questions. I just want to have my story straight in my head. I don't know why my nerves are so bad. I did a loan enquiry for my very first face to face MS assignment (last month), and I wasn't this nervous then.

Whenever I'm doing any job that isn't near home I usually say I'm dropping/picking mum/dad/hubby up and thought I'd just "pop in". I've done loads of bank jobs and no-one has really asked too much anyway. You'll be fine I'm sure. Good luck x
