  • Could anybody tell me how they get assignments from GR I joined ages ago along with a lot of the other ones on the first page. I have now got over my first time nerves and done a couple of assignments for a few of the MS companies I joined. I hear of alerts for GR but when I log on there is nothing there. Do they usually email first.

    Thanks
  • Praise for a fast payment from an MS Company.

After being used to slow payments from MS Companies this one broke all the records.

Did a larger job for OC on Tuesday, They reviewed and approved it Wednesday, I requested payment on Thursdsay by invoice, Friday Morning 8am Money was in my bank, as they are using the new Faster payment Service rather than 4 day bacs.

Now if all MS Companies were like that life would be so much easier..

GR email you when there are jobs for you but you have to be very fast to get them. I have managed to get 2 but missed many others.

Pammy is right - the jobs go really quickly. Also, when there are alerts posted on here, it doesn't necessarily mean there are jobs available in your area - so you could log in immediately and still not get any jobs because they are in other parts of the country.

When I joined GR in July, I had to wait about a month before there were ANY jobs in my area.
  • Also with GR it depends on where you live, I had 6 months with no GR assignments being offered let alone catch them ;) but there have been a few over the few months :) Which I have managed to get a few from!

  • Is anyone around? I need a bit of advice please. For some reason my nerves are playing up more now than on my first assignment!

I've got a bank enquiry to do today - I have to use a false name and address, which is worrying me in case I slip up. I thought the branch I have to visit was in the town centre, but now I realise it's out of town. It's not near the address I'm using. While I thought it was in the town centre I thought I had a good excuse that I was shopping and thought I'd pop in. But what excuse could I have for being out here? Surely they'll think it odd I didn't just go to my local branch?
  • Why not say you work nearby? I have a bank to do today but I can use my own details if I need to but its not that in depth so I am hoping they just won't ask ;)
Good luck, I am sure you will be fine

I'm worried they might ask where I work - it's a mortgage query so they might ask questions. I just want to have my story straight in my head. I don't know why my nerves are so bad. I did a loan enquiry for my very first face to face MS assignment (last month), and I wasn't this nervous then.
  • I would just pick a place nearby and try not to go into too much depth or just say you are visiting friends? They probably won't even ask you anyway so I would not worry about it!
Just relax and everything will be fine ;)
