    Mo477 - I salute you !

I also salute Sarash , Pigpen, Lil-me and all those other fly ladies who have family members with issues and illnesses or children who don't fall into the allegedly 'normal' spectrum.

It makes me feel that all my grumblings and mumblings about my A1 healthy kids seem so selfish.

Boddy - hope you'll feel better soon and you've just got a touch of hayfever rather than anything else.

Well, I Dysoned under my bed, the mattress, the carpet. And I turned the mattress and have nice clean egyptian cotton sheets back on.

Nice neighbour has been over and loved her birthday presents. We sunk some gin ;) and had a good, chatty time. It's hard to believe she's 72 and still works just about full time.

I'm currently having a scrabulous game on face book with DD. Why do I feel guilty that I've just got out a seven letter word and am now streets ahead in the scoring? Should I pedal back and let her win?

Right - need to think about some food - heaven knows what!
I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Mo477 - terrifically well done to you for fighting your OH's corner - isn't it a pity that the funding set up means that it has to be a fight at all? I also admire your courage. I've known a woman locally in a similar position, her OH was severely injured in a motorcycle accident when she was pregnant with her son, and he didn't regain consciousness until about a year after. She moved here to be near her parents, and must have had a lot of compensation money as they have a specially converted bungalow, and a team of 8 full time carers to look after her OH. She's terrific too.

    Evening ladies

Not flying today I have had a massive headache all day and it hasnt eased at all so will relax tonight and fly after I've taken DS up town clothes shopping tomorrow  .

Mumoffour77 - I admire your bravery about your dear husbands accident and I am so glad the meeting went well today. Pigpen said some fantastic words which sum up what I would like to have said but couldnt ever have said so well.

It amazing how so many of you cope with your family problems and I feel ashamed that I come on here and rant when I have nothing to cope with in comparison. You are all wonderful people :A :A :A

Right chill out and up early tomorrow.

Might pop back later to see who's about as I wont be in the pub like some :rotfl:

    TTFN
Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!
  • mumoffour77 - the way you cope is amazing.Well done for fighting his corner.

    Jackie
  • We are all amazing, and we all cope with all sorts of stuff. I just think it's amazing what we can cope with.... Life throws you a deck, and you just have to get on with it don't you??!! I can't and wouldn't dream of speaking for you MOF77 but I know that I would never imagined that I'd be shouting down consultants/paediatricians/teachers/etc etc and refusing to accept their prognosis.

    F**k em I say. :D:D

MO477 i think your totally amazing and take my hat of to you.

I've been busy today and have the kitchen half done as well as the livingroom been to the vets to get the claim form sorted and they can't wait to see bo again.

Bo has had his second operation and the vet said that instead of 2 breaks there was 3 (hairline) and that they had to put wire and pins in with an external cage because a plate wouldn't have held it together. He seems to be recovering ok but they'll know more tomorrow and he could be home tomorrow evening or sunday depending on how he is.:j :j :j

Plan tonight is to keep on with the washing, get kiddies to bed and really take into our bedroom because it is  .
    Back later to update.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
    :j :j
