    Morning everyone..
Not sure how much of the weekend list I'm going to get done, though some of it needs doing cause we are out at 9am.
I've got to make some lunch to take.
I have at least stacked the dishwasher from last night...might try to get clothes in dryer.
I ended up moveing the big pile of washing from my bed to the guest room bed. I hope no one drops in!
Hope you all have a good day, will try to pop in again later...

    Morning all

Slept in for once which is unusual. Miserable weather this morning.

Lil-me - what OU course is it that you're doing?

Right, I'll get this cup of tea finished and then think about what to do for the day.

As I'm here and I know I can be honest with you lot, I have lost every motivation I had with this course. I just got another result in, failed that one, I really tried hard aswell, just looks like this is going to prove too much for me. I'm still going to hand in the assignments but I really can't see myself passing either course this year. I might need to rethink and do something else.

Would it be at all feasible to go to a 'normal' uni? I must admit i struggled a bit with the more technical bits of my OU course. Mathematics is such a technical subject that i find it much easier in a 'classroom' situation than just sitting studying from a book. The OU is very good, but you dont get the same experience as a normal uni.

Thanks juliejim, I'm sure it'll be great once we actually get there! We can't get into the holiday house until 4pm, so there's no point having an early start....good job really!!!!

Did someone say that the Dr Who exhib. in Cardiff wasn't worth going to? We'll be driving through Cardiff today, and have Dr Who freaks in this house!!!

:o Aww don't be hurt. Have a huggle. :grouphug: I was only joking. I do have rather a dry sense of humour.

How'd you get on with Tetris? I'm totally addicted to Gold Rush on zylom at the moment.

I know you were! I think I've got your sense of humour pegged - s'very much like my own.
Just gotback on line - goodness know what was wrong but I find that if I clear all browsing history it usually solves the problem!
Tetris - so so - I'm not brilliant at it but it's one of the earliest games I ever played - pre windows!

Got in a right state yesterday - full 'sob' no one appreciates me, no one helps me mode. Mind you - the only adults I am speaking to at the moment are either neighbours - quick hello - shop assistants - HOW MUCH! and you lot!
Oh and my Mum. Sobbed that DS called me sad but I realised I probably am. Then checked the calandar - ha auntie's due to visit!! Kids at their dad's today - time for a duvet day methinks!
