  • Well, it,s been a good morning for me so far. Firstly my OH cooked me a full English breakfast which was scrummy. Then the postman called and there was a letter for me from HM Revenue and Customs. Inside was a tax rebate for 250 pounds!!!

That'll help with the credit card bill!!!

    Morning everyone.

Trying to get myself motivated today. Im in a no one likes me I have no friends mood. I know its not true. Im sure its the full moon today thats affecting people.

Once did a course on Matriarchal History. About how we were once a Matriarchal society and worshipped the goddess. How women were mathematicians and agriculterists etc. Men and women were equal and there were no wars. In that time the calender was based on the cycles of the moon. Seeds were planted at a certain time. We also learned how the moon affects us and our hormones. Lots to it and it was fascinating. I could go on and on but wont bore you all.

So Ive put music on and about to do a bit of flying. Also going to try to do something about my weight and have a few ideas.

    Kindlesgirl Welcome

mumofjusttwo Hugs. There is no set time for the grieving process. I think seeing someone does help.

    SS Have good holiday.

CraftyScholar I wear glasses. I used to have bifocals but found it hard on the stairs. Just have normal ones now. I wear them for reading and the computer.

Morning all the Dusty family have returned.

Cornwall was fine if wet at times. It was good to spend sometime with DH as he had been away all the week before.

I didn't realise quite what a state I had left the house in. Need to unpack, wash, wash and wash and shop. Will get back on board on Monday with the flying and just have a quick S&S and hoover this week.

I've not read the thread so if I've missed out please give me a shout.

    Hugs to you all.

Lil_me - summer is not a time to be motivated in my book. Give yourself a little time until Septmeber if you can x

Serena hope your holiday was good?

All A Level results - hope everybody did well

Mudbath - what's the latest on your hand? (you may be on hols now)

Right shower and then too it - I've spent most of the last week watching lots of the olympics so it is hard to not watch tv.

I was finding that fascinating and have often wondered about gardening by moon cycles. I feel very pensive today too - have done all week - time for a life reassessment for me.
