I think that he maybe right (again!!) as I do spend a lot of time thinking about her and it has been nearly 2 years and maybe i do spend more time thinking about what I have lost rather than what I have got. I am just not good at talking about these things.
MOJT - I can totally understand this. I lost my brother 4 years ago tomorrow and am only now thinking I need to talk to someone about it. I've spent so much time making sure my parents are ok and kept busy at the time so I didn't have to think about it and I'm not sure I ever grieved properly myself."There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers

I need about 20 of them!
Me too jj I have an ironing mountain - not a washing one! I got way behind with ironing last year!!! or was it the year before that or maybeeeee even the year before that!!!!!! I have to say its mostly vintage tablecloths that I intend to sell so they have to be starched and that takes me longer as I like them to look really good. I also have two duvet covers and assorted sheets still in the basket but only about 10 peices of clothing (now!!) and I try to iron what I wash when its dry so that the clothing pile doesnt get worse IYSWIM !!
My aim is to have all my 'selling' ironing done and sold before Christmas - I would like to start the new year with no ironing!!! It will be a first ever:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
I have only done 20 minutes ironing just now as my neck was getting really sore - thats one of the reasons I like this challenge - if I do any longer my muscle problem kicks in and I am in trouble!!
So I also sat down here and re-listed some books on amazon, and emptied the shredding bin.

could do better - must try harder

I totally agree - MO477 you are brilliant and your husband is very lucky to have you fighting for him.
I teach children with profound and complex disabilities and I know how much their parents (and us at school) have to fight for them and how difficult it can be.
You sound like you are really strong and that's fantastic :T"There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers

Hippy we have a synthetic duvet, and we used a scoop of bio washing powder, and a sprinkling of soda crystals (make sure you wear rubber gloves though as both can be irritants). I don't know if you can use these for feather duvets though - have never owned one so don't know. Maybe try a handwash liquid suitable for wool and silk, as wouldn't want to ruin the feathers.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

Sorry to hear that froddington (((hugs))). I am not sure if speaking to someone will help but it is worth a try. I have nothing to lose only something to gain.
I don't think it helped me having a six month old when she died as I think that I stayed in the house anyway IYSWIM. I plan on going to a few mother and toddler places when they start in the new term. The problem is DH doesn't seem to understand how clicky these places are. I have been before and you are not allowed to sit on certain seats because they are reserved for their friends. They even turn there back on me. Have to say it doesn't feel good.
He moans that I don't socialise when we go out but I spend my time keeping an eye on the children. They are so important to me. Hmm also realised that I often babble so people don't tend to listen to me. (Are you still there) so tend to just say nothing.
Really sorry didn't mean to sound so sadJanuary Grocery 11/3740
