Spur-of-the-moment kitchen re-jg done
Oven on for dinner - home made pizzas (kids love em if they make them!)
Pigpen, I'm PMT at the moment, so no point booking a smear, BUT, September 1st, DS1 at school, DS2 at nursery all day and my GP is close by, I WILL do it. My sis in law is ill at the moment and ovarian cancer has been mentioned so all the more reason.

I'm hurt - I even popped over to e chalk to play tetris. Just popped back to see if you'd done it!
Aww don't be hurt. Have a huggle. :grouphug: I was only joking. I do have rather a dry sense of humour.
How'd you get on with Tetris? I'm totally addicted to Gold Rush on zylom at the moment.
I am supposed to be doing parcels now. But that has been postponed till morning, as DH has taken DS footy training. I need to do them all at once as they're spread right across the town and it's to long for DD to sit in the car getting bored.0 -
Managed quite a bit in a short while. Done more from living room list.
Also put load of darks in WM.
Checked bank account.
Scanned photo of my two GGDs together.
Done some shredding.
Cup of tea time again then sort my mobile out.0 -
Good evening all!!
Meeting in the Hospital went well.......better than I expected!!
So im happy!
DH will be there for another 3 months as they cannot offer him a permanent bed, so the social worker and I are gonna look at other alternatives in Sept when the kids go back to school!!
I want him to stay where he is as he has got used to the staff, as have the kids and I. But the consultant said to look at the alternatives, and make a decision.......they may not be what I want......but it gives me another 3 months!! I fought his case well!! And A lot of the team members have said stick to my guns!! He was in a nursing home for 8 months and it was awful, the staff were great but he couldnt take part in anything and there was really no motivation to get 'better' as there was a lot of death ect around, it was hard to keep the kids under control when I took them up to see their dad and really was unsuitable!! In the place he is in there are big gardens and the staff have bought footballs and toys for the kids to play with when we go up, they also go to the therapy room with him and paint pictures!!!
The kids have grown attached to the staff, and vice versa, the staff are always saying that they brighten the place up!! There are a lot of younger patients there who have no family and my kids love them to pieces!!!
My DH had a car accident 4 years ago that left him severly brain damaged, and in a wheelchair, with very little prospect of recovery, but we are fine with that now, it took a long time to accept what happened and i was hell bent on telling everybody including drs that he would get better, and when my mum and I on the 25th of july 2005 were told that he would be in a persistant vegetative state for the rest of his life, i told the dr he didnt know what he was talking about!!!!!....and low and behold 2 weeks later DH started to speak!!
But he has now come as far as he can.....and i have accepted this:):jIm going to be frugal:j:DIm going to be frugal:D;)Im going to be frugal;)Beetlejuice Beetlejuice...................:rotfl:0 -
