I have had a good cry this morning as well as I had to take him outside for some air and had to carry him up to the pond as per usual morning escapades we do every morning,,, he has had a drink with glucose innit but is not really eating,,

Awww you poor things Ann :grouphug: it is so difficult to watch friends leave us. It's good that he's not in any pain or suffering, I know it's not much but that will be of comfort later. He is clinging on as long as he can because he loves you and wants to be with you. All you can do is be there with him and do what you can for him, just like you have always done. You know that we are all here for you don't you?

Well lunch is done and all tidied away, so I thought I`d have some time on here, half way through this post OH fell off the steps upstairs and scared the wits out of me, he had done the usual....over-reached and toppled over.....I have told him so many times not too, but being of the male gender.... HE KNOWS BEST.....yeah!! so thats why I am standing up and he is sprawled out on the floor:rolleyes: He`s ok though bruised ego I think.
Curtain rail is up so just got to go put the curtains back and vac round, so much for a quiet day.

Aussie - You need The Wayback Machine. Type the url of the site into it and it *should* have it cached so you can read it
Mioliere - Wedding sounds fantastic, glad everything all worked out perfick
Poppyoscar - @ your friends dinner! So simple but so effective
The downside of having a yellow car is that it sticks out a mile away - everyone stares at me as I drive around. Will have to drive a bit more carfeully now, as I am so identifiable
I did not wake up until midday
Will not mention the washing/weather combination as I'm bound to jinx it. Just sat here chilling with the radio, and bought another hanging rail for my wardrobe - £10 for a bit of metal tube and some brackets  .
I really must sort my meal plan out. Dinner is chicken pie from the freezer, with broccolli. We must all suffer one of two things: the pain of discipline or the pain of regret and disappointment0 -
Pippa.S - well done on the medal - good job you got one - we're not getting many in Beijing yet!!
Yup - Madison County - gets me every time - is the only DVD I possess!!
Blairweech - yeah - the dinner was fab! Why can't I ever think of delicious quick and easy stuff like that for impromptu dinners?????
Perhaps I should always keep a cam in the fridge and some half-baked ciabs in the freezer!! Maybe people would think I always eat with sophistication!!

Good afternoon everyone,
:hello: Taplady and mrs mix
Sorry i havnt read the thread properly for ages, but i think i missed AnnieBL and Jaywards birthdays - so hope you both had lovely days xx
Miolliere - glad the wedding went well, sounds like a lovely (and for you, a very proud) day!!!!
KAAT - sorry about your cat ((HUGS))
beth - hope you had a lovely time in Plymouth!!
My mind has now gone blank, im sure there were other things i needed/wanted to mention, but cant think at the moment!! So ((HUGS)) to anyone who wants/needs one xxx
Im now on my 2 weeks holiday, and im taking it easy today, as the rest of the week is going to be very busy!!! I should do some cleaning, as we are off to London on Tuesday and like the house to be clean when we go - tomorrow i have one of my 'old' little ones and his mum coming round for a coffee in the morning, so will be lovely to see them, and then in the afternoon, i have another one popping down with her mum, as they are moving away from this area on Wednesday, and want to come and say goodbye - so a busy day which i couldve done without, but its more important to see these people than worry about the state of the house!!!
Of course, we are then off to London on Tuesday, we are all looking forward to it. Will be looking for lots of cheap/free things to do, as well as the main task of spending my Harrods voucher - does anyone know what Harrods actually sells? Seems a silly uestion i know, but DD would like a new DS and DS a new mobile phone - so i was hoping that they do sell them - the Harrods website, to be honest, is worse than useless - i know they sell clinique in the shop, but its not on the website, in fact, there isnt much on the website at all, so i am hoping the shop is better stocked for me!!!
We are also looking forward to going to the Science Museum and Natural History Museum, and although we went to London about 4 years ago, we didnt go to Trafalger Square or Picadilly Circus, so we are also going to be proper tourists and go there too. I also want to take DS to visit the Arsenal stadium - they arnt playing (and we couldnt get tickets for the weekend match either) but would still be nice for him to see it and go to the shop. We might even be meeting up with some other old stylers - Shez - im about to PM you!!!!
Well, ive waffled on enough, need to Pm Shez and then do something - my mornings are being taken up by the Olympics now, and i really should get myself away from the computer!!!
Hope everyone has a lovely evening,
Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx0 -
Cat - hope you have a lovely time in London, Harrods is fab, why don't you sign up for their loyalty card, it's free and you collect points just like Tesco clubcard lol! Plus you'd get lots of points from using your vouchers! The beauty hall is great, and the free gifts given out are always the best, so finger's crossed that clinique is on offer when you get there. There is a big hmv in harrods, so I'm sure you'll find the ds and assorted phones in there. The staff are generally really really helpful. And before anyone gets the wrong idea I'm not a secret multimillionaire, I just like wandering around Harrods and the kids love the escalators lol!
I hope you all enjoy yourselves! And don't forget everyone that booking for seeing Santa opens on 21 August, its free and you need to book online.GC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000
